There's the odd thing.. The BOS *made* that Power Armor in Fallout Tactics, so it would be "new", but in every damned render of it you see, it's rusted and spotchy.
Oh yeah, the chest piece on your PA is way too small. PAs need bulk, even the FOT one.

Simply astounding. How long did it take you to make this?
Hey, why don't you do a real suit of PA now (as Saint_Proverbius said): the good 'ol actually-fits-in-the-retro-50's-style-setting-despite-being-really-high-tech T-51b?

It always worries me when I see two swording Guybrush's on my screen.
About textures, are you gonna go for a shiny new armor look or a worn and rusty piece of metal look?

I was going to texture it wit a rusty piece of metal look, what do you think?? Would you like it as a new armor or old one??

Thanks man!! To model i think it took me 6 to 8 hours, because i am a "newbie" in the 3d world!! for now this is my best model

that does look pretty damn sweet.
i also model some, just started. im using Milkshape3d, i split the cost with my friend (he likes modelling too) so it was extrmemly cheep.
i made a model of a WW2 knife, that looks exactly like the one i have.
where can i get this Lighwave? i gotta try it out.
just a few suggestions:
make the mouthpeice a little wider, if you work with virtexes in lightwave, it shouldnt be very hard to drag them out a little.
make the head a tiny bit wider, and the "Fins" go straighter back.
yeaup, looks sweet.

I'd prefer the shiny new armor look, but you can do the rusty look later if you have time.

Milkshape3d is more of a modeller for games.
it was developed for Halflife, and it has plugins for like every quake engine game and a lot otheres. cause i used to map a lot for wolf, and quake.
thanks for the link, i gotta use these multimedia modellers for once.

Ha!
oh, well, im just a kid, so i dont have that kind of money to throw around.
here:
http://www.discreet.com/purchase/
its $3500 about.
i got MilkShape3d for $20! and i split it with my friend. it sucks compared to that, but i like it. especially if i want to have some fun, and screw around with a game.
i would buy that if i had the money, and nothing else to spend it on, but i just do this kind of stuff for fun. im gonna make a T51-b PA model, and we can compare them, and show how much better your's is, lol
does lightwave work with triangles? or curves that make odd shapes, ect..
more of a multimedia modeller than a game modeller. Milkshape is like for ingame models, and lightwave is more for the FMV sequences. my computer would explode if i tried to run that.
im pushing it on this 450 of mine.
but anyway, nice model.
