i'd never get a tattoo because i'm a pussy, but if i did it would be something halfway original like a dragon-riding dalai lama fighting hitler and his armies, rather than the japanese symbol for "peace". tattoos of crosses and eagles and things about your heritage and all that are about as who-cares as you can get, & they've become ubiquitous enough to look like logos - why not get the nike swoosh on your calf while you're at it?
tattoos on girls have got to go, too. fortunately they serve as a warning that the person you are dealing with is probably on the vacuous side (not in tingel's case, of course ^__^)
