Some mmo news for those interested

Yah, it is, but we've been having troubles with dipshits getting gear from our raids and then leaving the guild, since we run without a DKP system - and all of a sudden all the bottoms want to top and all the tops want to double penetrate and all the dp'ers deside to take a break from topping, so we're left on scraping up just enough people for 10-man raids for the time being, which is tedious and annoying...

What server/faction/guild are you playing?

Depending on the general progress of the game, it will always be harder to scratch up a guild, than keeping up from the beginning =(

Just don't allow new people to get gear for 2 weeks to 1 month, and you'll be fine.
At that point, you can't really debate if they've earned it or not.

Someone edited it - it used to say toon, or char. As in main character. Whatever.

EU - Genjuros - Horde - After Taste.
After Taste came to be less than a year ago, as a result of Bad Taste, the servers largest Horde guild splitting up, and dividing into three different guilds - After Taste, Afternoon Delight and Seven Sins. So basically, the guild has loads of people who could technically be doing Black Temple now because of the progress they've made earlier, but because of the split-up and the guild needing to expand and thus recruiting new members that weren't as progressed, we're stuck at Kara and ZA to gear people up.

Also, we do use a initiate system where you have to actively raid for three weeks before you get permission to roll.

Are you particularly attached to that guild? Otherwise I'd join another.
It pretty much sounds like you'll become a guild to gear up people who passes along...

You forgot work, 8 hours.
I feel lucky to be in the guild I am now, we meet eachother once in a while and go on drinking binges.
Raids are max 4 times a week, and almost always only 3, raiding from 19:00 to max 23:00.

For WoW, that's pretty damn casual, and I barely touch the game at other times, because I'm getting really bored of it.

My other time is divided on to my PS3, assembling my Baneblade tank and trying not to let my apartment fall into complete dissarray..

I have male escorts over almost every second day, and I've given up my ass and having them do me everytime, so I buy loads of vibrators/glass dildos and lube.

The major disappointment for me in the limited time I've spent on WoW is the lack of people actually roleplaying. The first time I went into a major city I was put off by how many people were just trying to massage the prostate with random shit.

That's true, but at the same time, if you join an RP server, you'll notice the exact opposite, people are being fucking geeks and nazis, and if you're to say "fuck" or use some modern language usage you'll get flamed.

definitely needs to be regulated - RP servers generally are people who dress up for DragonCon IRL - fucking weird ass people you laugh at, whether they're dressed up or not.

Can *anybody* just be 'normal' in this world ffs?

As opposed to the extreme geekness of Fallout rabid fanboism who can't get over themselves if things aren't perfectly canon?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, some of the "indy-gamers" we have here make me want to puke down their throat, and drown them.

I bet if Fo3 was actually a good game with some nice canon twist and got wildly popular, half the people here would instantly veer away from the game, because of its popularity, and come up with excuses for the rest.

I've reverted some of the changes made.
I'm not going to start cleaning up these places unless it gets spammed up with porn and racism. I might edit Thor's posts though. Once in a while.
