Runs like a dream. B)

The first disappointment was that I couldn't shoot the head off that annoying pilot from the intro. He showed me disrespect. :sadblinky:

For a plastic bioware game where nothing you do except the forced "choices" has any impact whatsoever (like all of them) it was okay, if only because of the space theme.

I also managed to find a situation where shooting your weapon wildly actually has an effect, but I think it might have been a bug. During the "go talk to the biotic cult leader" sidequest (no spoilers here, if you want a spoiler try "the game fucking sucks like all xbox "rpgs") I shot an explosive... container of the sort they scatter around every combat zone without fail and the biotics attacked me. First and only time I've found that you can get that result no matter how often you shoot whoever in the face in town.

i have been sniping civilians all day with explosive rounds and 2 rail extensions and no one ever dies. It is not the best rpg, but in this dry spell of gamelessness i give it the thumbs up.

Its not really much of an rpg. More of a movie with a somewhat changeable storyline. Still, its some pretty fucking sweet sci-fi they have got going.

I just started noticing that as i began to play as a badass. I think they thought their story line was too good to change it.

And I agree with them. usually the most fun dialog option is the evil one, thats why I never use intimidate.

I am going for an intimidating character right now, but i agree that the best dialogue is the bad guy one, like when they try to take your weapons from you.

Yup.. Intimidation usually leads to non-violent solutions..

Basically. An interactive movie. Sick as fuck if you look at it from that perspective. They establish a coherent, enjoyable universe that I would not be disappointed to see further material published in. The game is a trilogy, but I mean books or movies.

Interactive Movie, interesting take.

If that's the case, they did a heckuva lot better than the Sega CD-era and all of it's clones....

You aren't supposed to be able to do that. It'll be fixed in the patch.
