No. The game is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY STORY FREE.

Well, there is a small one and it is kinda lame, but the gameplay is so fucking good that you can ignore that. Basically it is a really good game that is not pretending to be anything more than an excuse to cut parts off of living things or thrown them off cliffs or squash them or any of a large number of grizzly ways. Set them on fire, electrocute them freeze then shatter them, stab them in the jugular, if oblivion's combat was anything like this the game would have actually been worthwhile.

Hitman on the other hand is eidos and i dont think they have ever made a game worth playing.
