So, I finally saw watchmen.

very good movie - stuck very close to the book, without the newsstand scenes, which I thought broke some of the continuity/flow of the main story.

The ending was definitely better - I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but a definite improvement over the giant japanese sex squids or whatever they were.

I didn't like the change to the ending. All in all a good movie though.

Was nice to go see a decent movie for once. It didn't feel too much like a cash cow, although there were a few scenes that were there just to have some action.

The fightscene in the prison where owl and silk bash through 10-some prisoners.. It felt a bit pointless.
