I was going to start a new thread but when I clicked on the game sub-forum I saw this towards the bottom, so I might as well help save space.

Been playing the demo. I really like it, I only wish that all of this content was in the first one, but since I'll be preordering it on steam for a discount I don't really feel like I'm wasting my money.

If you didn't like the first one, you'll definitely like this one. If you liked the first one, you're going to love it. If you loved the first one, you have to buy it.

What do you guys think?

Australian censorship has pretty much destroyed this game. No limb dismemberment removes a pretty key component of zombie blasting hordes, making the assault rifles more viable. We also don't have the special infected police guy.

Also corpses fade out before they usually even hit the ground.

Glad I didn't spend money on it, might get it if the censorship gets bypassed.

Tried the demo, which ran like shit on my computer due to Valve failing at multi-cores...

I like the style and graphics, especially the new monsters and how you have to further work together to make things work.

I've been playing a lot of Killing Floor lately, which is pretty excellent, and something it has that L4D desperately misses is the feeling that your weapon gives a kick.

Firing off a double barreled 12 gauge and mowing down ten zombies while your gun flies upwards is pure boner inducing <3 that should be part of any zombie-killing game.

Since I can't sleep I'll make a KF thread, for the heck of it..

Pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam yesterday for the discount since I'd be getting it anyway, so now all I can do is wait.

Going to wait until there's a larger discount for it, and then probably buy it along with 3 other friends. I think it's way too expensive for basicly an advanced remake.

Opinions on the quality/worth would be appreciated, when it's out.

There won't be a larger discount for it, unless you mean waiting two years and catch it on a 50% off weekend. The pre-order discount is as good as you're going to get, especially if you get that four pack bundle and split it four ways per person (about $36 USD each).
