I first heard of DAC by the end of the fallout2.net days myself, and was mostly a lurker during the rpgplanet days.

A half of today's regulars probably doesn't even know who Kreegle is.

Also, funny how Briosafreak's Fallout 3 fansite took DAC's old place as Planet Fallout.

To add a bit to the first question:

I think a lot of my involvement in the Fallout community mainly arose from the Unwashed Villagers. Jay was a part of them for a while (don't know if he returned or not), and Miroslav hosted their forum after they moved from DAC@Turngray.

That's not funny. Briosafreak fit right in there at GameSpy.

They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

Had DAC stayed at GameSpy, it would have probably ended up as something similar to that in the long run.

Undoubtedly so. GameSpy is the EA of media sites.

I admit that my interview format does suck quite a bit. I'm unsure if I should quote the whole thing like a regular news item since I think that would be kind of a pain in the ass to read. The other way I was thinking is just using italics for questions and then indents for answers but perhaps I will look into during the next interview. What do you guys think the format should be?

Use DAC's content management system instead of posting a whole interview as a newspost. Format questions in bold. Remove needless line breaks.

I guess I will try but I just got content access not long ago. Also is there anyways to bind a news post with the content system so if a person click on the thread in the news forum it automatically goes to the content article so only that one will get comments? I hate when there are two separate threads for the same article.

Rosh, you didn't state exactly who you killed mang?

I don't think there's a way of tying the newspost with the content system, that's one disadvantage, unfortunately.

An Iraqi soldier during the first conflict when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

I wasn't about to ask his name, if you were wondering. :evil_laugh:

That hardly includes DAC. The core of this community was always resolved in resisting FO3 and Beth. Apart from eventually driving the developers away, there was little else we could actively do.

From my memory, we also had the most posters who actively terrorized the Bethesda community.

Teatime and KoC were pretty Beth-friendly, though.

He died in the midst of a tedious internet argument, without a doubt.

Perhaps he was being NOSTALGIC about <strike>FAILURE</strike> DEFERRED SUCCESS. Did you consider that possible eventuality, Walt ? Did you ? :drunk:
