What did you think? I figured it out at the words "wearing power armor minigun/bozar rounds don't do shit..."

what i think is what i posted, and NOOOOO i play on rough combat. LOOK AT THE STATS!! advanced power armour is i think like 10/70% (more perhaps) and oh, well look minigun rounds don't even do 10 damage, regardless of difficulty!!! for those who are lining up to get wrecked, you just keep on posting....

besides even then, as i said you can arm him with the energy weaponz and that stops you from getting hurt.
and, ahem <dermal implants>.

and finny boy, if you claim that i'm stating the obvious well i'd have to agree, but i'm just helping some n00bz.

marcus sucks, skynet rocks and cassidy also rocks.
miniguns suck.
energy rock.
marcus sucks because he can't wear any form of armour so you can't take him onto the enclave oilrig without him being shot to bits so you take cassidy.
give cassidy or skynet a gauss rifle and they will absolutly rock.
if you don't play the fallout series on hard you are a wimp and you suck.
miniguns and any other type of burst fire big gun dosen't kill people in power armour unless you get a critical, and still sometimes not even then.

None, they all suck, and die horribly in my games, flamethrowered, knifed, shot or blown up, i don't care as long as they're dead! Hopefully any sequel if one is ever forthcoming will rectify this.

Much as I hate to agree with the "BLAGH!" Brothers here, I must admit that a fully armored character with the right attributes and perks can pretty much ignore minigun attacks, even at normal difficulty (I can't speak about the more difficult setting as I've never had a character that could ignore them at that setting). I know this from my last character to go through FO2, who was a HtH-only fighter, and had all the perks appropriate to such. On the other hand, I think I must disagree with the idea that a character could ignore the other types of rouunds unless I saw it myself or was given sufficient proof.

EDIT: Note- I don't argue that any person with power armor can just ignore minigun rounds, just that it is quite possible to make a (legal) character that can w/PA

in response in jimbo san, regardless of the fact that you believe that "they all suck", there is still, in every poll a preference one must take if they wish to contribute to the forum. which, taking you back to the subject at hand, do you believe is best, or 'the least suckiest' in your words?

again miniguns suck, ammo wastage, ammo weight, one shot with a pulse to the eyes with a critical will do many many times that of a minigun.

if you give any NPC ally that can wear Adv power armour and stims, don't they also rock and never die??

yah boy you're probably right when you say that they (almost) never die, but Vic/Myron don't necessarily "rock" as you put it.

And I wouldn't suggest giving Sulik a G11/G11E. Given the rate he spends bullets, he's better off with a P90C and a shitload of 10mm ammo.

And why the 14mm pistol for your wife? Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't she use a .223 pistol???

At some point of the game, you will have so much stuff to sell, you'll make Bill Gates himself look like a poor man! By the looks of it, he has already completed the game (or he's very close to it), so money's not a problem. The real problem is carrying around all that cool stuff he finds!

use energy (pulse and turbo plasma) and small guns (gauss), aim at the eyes... get a critical, do more damage than a burst...

Big, ugly and can't wear armor. Energy weapons aren't really FO and big guns are my main character's deal.

Oh, yeah, the game mechanism must've agreed, when it gave me 3500 hp critical (with LK 5) against Enclave troope...

use energy (pulse and turbo plasma) and small guns (gauss), aim at the eyes... get a critical, do more damage than a burst...

I use gauss only, because it's a small gun. Energy weapons suck ass, because they don't really belong to the FO's world - IMO.
