Becky tells you she can just repair it herself, so I doubt there is a still repair quest.

In Klamath there's the "Refuel the stil" quest.
In the Den, there's a bunch of quests related to stills. First you need to ask Rebecca for some booze and see the price (you don't need to buy any), then to the same with Franky. At that point you cna ask him why his price is so high and then he'll ask you to find why Rebecca's is so low. There should be a way to ask her about it but I never found it, instead what you do is wait until the guard leaves the door, lockpick and open it go down and look at the still, return to report to fraky. He'll ask you to break the still and tell you you can take the crowbar from the backroom. You can do that, or talk to him again and convince him to buy his booze from Rebecca.
Apparantly there's a bug allowing you to do both (break it and convince franky to buy it from rebecca), but I never managed to do it.

Actually, all you have to do is buy enough drinks off her. At some point she'll tell you about the still cause you're such a good customer.

Ah, so that's the other way to know about it... Well, it's less expensive to wait for the guy to go cruise the lady at craps/roulette table still

, and note that I mentioned you could talk to her about it... I think you need to be a man for that part to work but I can't verify that (I remember looking into her script and seeing that and there was a test to see which sex you were).

How much do you have to buy? I just wonder if it's actually worth it.

That book you were talking about, is it the pink one? lavendel flower or something? That gives warm and cosy feelings and such?
It has too long since I played this game. I don't quite remember.
I remember reading the book trying to sit out my guarding session in the Enclave base (forgot the name). That didn't worked out tho. I might have stood there for two weeks or so.
Will there ever come somebody to take over your shift?

No. It's another unfinished quest.

Actually I think it's more of a cruel joke to play on people.

The book? No, it's just part of the Rebecca quest. Nothing really important either. Contemporary reference type of egg I guess...

That must be it.
BTW Anyone know what's with the slaver guards at Den?
The first one I kill dies in normal way in normal time. Takes about 15 damage from my hunting rifle. Then the next guy starts to take only 5 or so damage and that goes for the rest of the battle. Where does this boost for their DR? comes from? It's annoying. I gotta lock the f*cking doors and shoot them through the windows as they are so toug all the sudden.

I just wait to kill them until I get Cassidy and Sulik and actually have some guns.

Some Slavers use Psycho when in combat.

And maybe you're just unlucky with damage rolls.

I've heard of a bug where all the raiders are affected as soon as the first one takes some buffout... Since I personally always steal any weapons/amo/drugs they might use I never noticed that, so I suggest you do the same... As a bonus you'll keep all these items for yourself instead of them being used against you.

I think the mag revovler is under powered in Fallout and in most games. Hell if I shot somebody with one of those, it'd blow a hole in them from close range.
