mental block perk?

Discuss the game that started it all, and its sequel. Technical questions and issues go into the Fallout Technical Support forum, not here.

Well, I don't know if you can get the perk in FO2 legit; found it when I was playing with FALCHE.

Heh, I've never bothered with the nullifier, In fact. I didn't know it even exsisted until I read this thread :)

I've always managed to go throu the corridior just fine, even with low endurance. The damage aint that bad. Granted I've gotten my eye damaged a few times, But I just used the doctors skill to heal it. It always worked after a few tries, even with only 8% doctor's skill. ;)

Only use for it that would have had any value would be to make Myron a more tolerable companion untill you extract his brain.

Bloodgeon11:

I'll assume that you have played FO2 & understand what a git Myron is.
He's a smart mouthed kid with a sex obsession, a coward & a terrible shot. All around, the most annoying NPC possible if you play a female PC. Not much better if you play a male. I'd teased that if Mental Block were enabled in FO2 that it should have made Myron more tolerable by allowing the PC to ignore his constant whining.

On the other thing, it is possible to either retrieve a brain from storage in the Sierra Army Depot or use one of your NPC's as a *organ donor*. Myron makes the perfect victim & it's rather funny to stick his brain in a robot body or just keep as a souviner. Give it a try sometime.

Myron is quite useful once leveled up a bit with a enerygy weapon and an APA/HPA. Plus he can make stims/superstims which'll be handy if you like to assassinate people that way (dynamite always crashed my game...)

Course you'll have to bother with his comments all the time...

If you change Myron's combat profile, he's not such a coward. He actually does some shooting, and isn't all that bad.

I took Myron to the Enclave once on a storm the place guns blazing sort of approach. He was the only NPC survivor. Shoots ok but has nothing on Vic for energy wepons. The only reason he lived was because he'd run upon being shot & managed not to run in the direction of the enemy.

Not my alltime favorite NPC but to each his own

I only got Myron out of the stables because it freaks out the Mordinos :D Then, when I got the drug antidote quest done right, I ditched him. He's a sucker and doesn't really deserve to live, but I thought it's more of a punishment to be stabbed by an unknown drunk than shot by the Savior of the Wasteland

....after you have initiated the self destruct. The warm feeling you get after killing Horrigan and sailing home and thinking that Myron was one of those who were blown into oblivion with the evil bastards.
