I meant we're not allowed to talk about it since the two Ks dont support this kind of behavior(last I recall). I also have no idea where you can get the full version, my best guess is Kazaa, but I realy dont have any idea and was looking for the easy way out.

My ISP diconnects me after every 2 hours, makes completing a big DL very difficult unless you babysit the computer.

I got a reply from Chris Avellone about the chem today.

heres the jist of it:
Chris Avellone wrote:I did a search of the old art archives, and all I came up with was the icon pictures. The only item that had "real" concept art that I could find was the super stimpak, and that's about it.
Ive asked him about the 'vial' on the side of the syringe, hopefully he'll be able to offer some insight into how it connects to the main structure.

Keep making those pyramids and boxes :P

You're quite good with the program. When I first started using it all I could manage to do is, at best, a box, but a realy snazzy box, and typing the arc command over and over(if memory serves me right). Keep it up, I'll try and keep an eye on your projects.

If you like you could make the PIPboy, Ive wondered what that would look like.

BTW, if you need concept art ask Chris Avellone.

There isnt really anything else I'd personally like to see, apart from maybe the stealth boy.

But of course, thats pretty detailed in the inv pic already.

Hmmm. Not bad, man. A few suggestions:

- The "vial" on the side... Those two rings, one at either end, that kinda bump out from it? Yeah, they're too smoothly flowing from the tube itself. Try making the seam, where they attach to the tube, a bit sharper.

- The longer tube seems a bit jagged. I haven't used Rhino in some time, but I assume that's a loft? Try adding more control points to the spline you used for the path.

- GO GET 3DSMAX. Seriously. My skillz skyrocketed after I got myself a real 3D graphics program. If you're willing to spend the money, buy the student version. It's a mere $450 (US), which is damn cheap compared to the full version, and once you have it you can upgrade for next to nothing (relatively speaking). Once you get 3DSMax, you won't need to worry about having it divided up into various parts for texturing it properly. UV Unwrap, my friend. =D

Good job, tho. I dig that handle. You'd best be texturing it...

well, you see, the problem isn't that i dont have 3dsMAX, its that i cant run it...

i would need to spend that $400some on a better comp, i cant even get through the loading screen without it freezing up... 450 mghz doesnt cut it these days.

when i look in the computer sales catalogs every sunday, i weap at the spead they are at now--3ghz!? christ... give me money!

What's the problem with 3ds? Oooo, I love that program. You can make some very good models with it...

Yah, 3DS Max rocks. I lovelovelove it...

And I'm astounded that you made that model with only 450 mHz. Holy sh*t!!!!

Yeah, buy a new comp. Now. At Dell, you can get a decent one for 800 (without monitor, but I assume you have one already...) Seriously, it'll make a huge difference with your art.

what i really need is a great deal on a kickass motherboard/chip with at least 2ghz or more... not too cheap though...

im fine with my monitor, keybourd, mouse, very small hard drive... slow ass cd drives... crappy sound card (who needs sound anyway?)
so... a better vid card would be better (i think mine's 8 or 16 mb... not that good now) and i definatly need a new board/cpu..

i really want a new comp. the highest quality 3d game i can play is like quake2... heheh.

anyone show me to some good deals on good boards/cpus? or video cards?
