Nothing. It's a useless item supposed to be involved in the "bug men" quest with Torr.

.gif's tend to make terrible signatures in general. they're annoying as hell.

marked cards + loaded dice = unusable, I'm afraid.

too bad they dont raise you gamble skill, with a hefty boost, if you know what i mean...

you could make them boost it while wearing them if you modified their atributes, right?

You can use the dice/cards on some tables but it does nothing.

The claws might have been used in the brahmin russtling by the Duntons... There is diloag in Mrs. Buckner's msg file to rat them out, but the script doesn't use it (or the node's unreachable, can't remember).

The other pairs is indeed in New Reno, in Golden Globes. I'll let your imagination figure out why they're there.

Maybe they were just studying BOS tech? As a reason for why they would buy/steal/get it.

Studying BOS tech is pointless since... get ready... they have the same technology. The computers and whatnot at Lost Hills were standard US Army issue stuff, much the same as what the Enclave would have gotten, although maybe less advanced since the President was never going to stay at Lost Hills. Now, it's plausible that the Brotherhood might have improved on those computers in the years since the war, but keep in mind that they're just a bunch of grunts. I'm sure they've learned a lot since (scribes and knights), but when you consider the fact that the Enclave no doubt had a head start as well as extremely well trained technicians, I don't see how the Enclave could need BOS technology. At best, they might want samples of it in order to judge the technology level of the Brotherhood, but certainly not to use it. To make a parallel, let's look at the power armors of the two groups. The Brotherhood still uses the T-51b, and probably has made very few enhancements to this model. The Enclave, however, uses advanced power armor, which they developed after the war. This proves that the Enclave is better equipped technology-wise.

Perhaps it's a question of supplies, they'd only have room on the oil rig for a limited amount of spare parts and raw materials. Developing and Building the Vertibirds and APAs would of used up a majority of those materials. The more computer equipment they got from the BOS (by whatever means) the more materials they could devote to Vertibirds, APA etc, why go to the trouble of building something from scratch when you can use someone else's equipment?

I just think it sucks ass that the Brotherhood has turned into some watered-down version of its former self in the game. In FO, they were decked out in PA, toting chainguns and basically letting everyone know that they were not ones with whom to fuck. Hell, even their door guards had power armor on. In FO2, they're just these guys standing from town-to-town with an office here and there minding their own business and twiddling their thumbs.

Heh. Anyone remember in FO when you get the BOS paladins to give you a hand into getting inside the military base? Six guys stroll up with plasma rifles, chainguns, and rocket launchers... in FO2, the only Brotherhood guy you could even really talk to for more than 2 lines of dialogue gets his liver punched apart by Horrigan a week or so after you join.

that's the point... in FO2, they declined in the face of the Enclave. a sad story, really.

Yea, that story sucks.
Brotherhood of Steel were awesome, then in Fallout they get weakened, and now in Enforcer they get ass-raped.

thongs!

disgusting.

don't forget they (the BOS) were raped in FOT also, just in FOE the rape is dumber and more obvious. and orchestratred by an ILLEGAL MEXICAN IMMIGRANT.

About the boxing gloves - Can you use the plated boxing gloves in the ring, or are they useless?

*Er, side note, I haven't actually boxed before there, so I don't know if they force you to use golves that the ring provides*
