I think i checked this out some time ago, and i remember that there was some option in the Ai.txt file that set this(general type or something).

What's the problem with using FAME? I've been playing using the patched version of FAME, and so far only had the one problem, in trapper town Sulik (wearing the leather armour) got in the way of my view of a rat. I tried moving the cursor to find a spot of the rat I could click on and suddenly Sulik dissappeared, and when I moved around I'd be followed by a civillian who'd run around waving his arms but would turn invisable when he stopped moving. I've still got patch000.dat running, but a quick reload and everything was fine and no other problems since.
There seems to be a bug in Sulik's script which makes him look like Davin when you either look or push him; this can be bad if Sulik is wielding a hammer or submachinegun because Davin's FRM does not support it and thus turns him invisible.
Some of them are sprite specific - although I don't know if it's hardcoded in the game to check wether NPCs can use or not the weapon by itself. Either way obviously sprites that don't include certain weapons (say the minigun), those NPCs won't be able to use them.
It seems like they can use any weapon supported by their sprite; I tried this with Skynet, changed his proto file to make him look like a Sentry Robot and beefed up his Big Guns skill. Now even though his skill is still listed as Small Arms (must be determined by Party Options in script) he is awesome with a rocket launcher or minigun.

1)I used Sulik script for tests and forgot to delete some unwanted code

What armour you use ?
If you load old save game (saved bofore this mod was instaled) then first remove armour that it wears and exit talk window, after this it should work ok.

Davin is in Modoc.
I have tested it and mod (and Vic )works fine.
Other NPC-s change their graph ?
Check fallout2/data folder if you had there a patch000.dat folder then delete it.
Rename b-team.dat to patch000.dat and copy to main fallout2 directory.
Do nort run eny other mods etc.
If patch000.dat folder is crearted after runing game then the mod *.dat file is corupt.

Vic's working fine for me, and I running both the patch000.dat and the B-Team mod through Fame 2. Vic's had no problem wearing the Leather Jacket, Leather and Metal Armours or the Combat Armour. I've just reached the Military Base and tried the Power Armour out on Sulik, Vic and Cassidy and other than having to strip Cassidy entirely of the Combat Armour MK2 before he'd wear the PA, I've not had any trouble with the Mod.

Yeah, but I never found it. I jist entered it thru ctrl-R :)
BTW I don't use B-Team cause I installed FO2 patch 1.05 (at FMC)- it's cool! If you wanna install it don't forget the update! I got pissed off when I was exitting Enclave reactor (Fallout was crashin' all the time till I installed this update)
