Hey HSM... You should happen to be a follower of a radical ideology..? Say, communism for example..? ;)

Gany, I don't think communism is actually a radical ideology. That's more the view you get, when people started abusing their powers.

oh, this and that.
every religious construction ever made would be this.
and every remnant of an oppressive regime would be that.

the world'll be a beautiful place for those last 24 hours.

Communist? Nah... Just a Democratic Socialist. Not a paying member, of course, but I got the tattoo on my ass that's apart of Party Policy.

In this specific case my definition of a radical ideology was an ideology that benefits the community over the individual... A bit unclear from my side, perhaps...

Though as a definiton of the word 'radical', you might put 'as opposed to something'

Webster definition (one of four)

-3 a : marked by a considerable departure from the usual or traditional : EXTREME b : tending or disposed to make extreme changes in existing views, habits, conditions, or institutions c : of, relating to, or constituting a political group associated with views, practices, and policies of extreme change d : advocating extreme measures to retain or restore a political state of affairs <the radical right>-

So, in other words, communism(outdated term?) is what we call 'radical left', though in my personal opinion, the left-right defintion of political ideologies is outdated, two-dimensional and just plain stupid...

Why is communism(socialism) radical? In our society communism is VERY radical, as it would bring a lot of changes to our way of living. In North-Korea capitalism/liberalism is very radical, since the system there is of a socialistic kind...

As for my personal opinion on socialism... Well, frankly, I despise it! I am strictly against any ideology/policy that is based on a system where everything is controlled by the state. Without personal freedom, my life wouldn't be worth living... Also, socialism is based on a beleif of everybody as 'equal'. Everybody is NOT equal! Everybody is different, they have different needs, different wishes and different beleifs. They should be treated that way too!

Well, just my $0.02... I'm kind of tired now, and it's kind of just like five hours until I'll have to get up, and I kind of have a German exam tomorrow, and that kind of sucks... So if I kind of could get my @$$ off this bloody chair, I'll kind of go to bed... Hm... This thread kind of got a little off-topic... I guess I kind of have to lead it the right way...

If I were to die tomorrow... I'd take a shot at that gal in my class, and see if... No, hehe... :) No dice...

Communism=only good for the top, I mean, I'd never become somebody smart if I got the same pay as a factory-worker!

In Denmark we are socialistic, we pay high taxes but get free education for anyone, anytime, free health-care, etc... I like it, but we were getting too sissy until the last election- thank god!

What you have in Denmark is "socialism light"... A social democracy... A mixed economy... Juuust like Norway(and Sweden) But fortunately you are, like us Norsemen, turning more and more towards the open market and the safe havens of liberalism...

Btw; Don't you think your new government's immigration politics are kind of strict..?

I'd probably try to poison myself with alcohol before the whatever-it-is hits us.

That way I'm not going to notice when the world ends, at least :).
