Hey everyone! Let's make a Mario game where you can play as a Koopa! Wouldn't that be FUN!?

No.

Dividing the storyline into 3 paths is stupid because that means quantity over quality. Who wants three storylines if it means that they're only 1/3 as good as a single one?

Be realistic here, Sawyer. You run a dev team that has time constraints and deadlines. Make up your mind and do it intelligently.

Arcanum kinda pulled it off but it required a magikal plotline which kinda resets everything (which you cant have in Fallout).

Also Arcanum had a long dev time and a talented team which BIS doesnt have.

Super mutants don't work, I agree, but it's possible for ghouls to (how about ghouls holed up in a vault, sort of like Vault 12 only the vault is still, physically, sealed so they can't exit?) It really wouldn't be hard to justify a ghoul's placement.

Arcanum had rubbish combat, precisely because of the TB/RT obligation. They did the best they could, but Arcanum is still a strong case against hybrid combat games.
