I think there's something flawed in the installation... A broken file or something similar. But it's hell of a hard time to fix that or even find out which file causes this trouble!

That brings me to another question when ever i install it this has happend everytime by the way when i put the disc in it gives me the option to install again and not press play in otehr words the play button is not there and all that is is install and i have to run it through my computer or my programs its very wierd.

maybe it's something with the regestry, because as i understand, all that install/play type thing is controlled by it. check your add/remove programs thing in the control panel to see if Fallout2 is there... just a suggestion. then maybe reinstal, or attempt a manual instal or something.
