I'm for Guy Pearce - I think he is the ideal vaultdweller. In LA Confidential and Memento he played characters that were both naive and unexperienced yet hard as nails. Both characters had to adapt to a hostile and new environment. Yeah, he's the man...But Johny Depp would be nice, too.

Arny would be an ace-raider. But the film's producer prolly would have to settle for Ice T...

But then: You all are right. Movies based on games start with a +5 bonus on suckage.

Ed norton or someone equally skinny. That way he can talk, sneak around and fire small arms reasonably until he gets power armour and stuff.

Yeah, I could see Ed Norton as the vaultdweller. His character in Fight Club would be perfect.

I'm not a Final Fantasy fan but thought the movie was pretty well done. The CG was excellent and would be good for Fallout because they could just use the models directly for Fallout3.
