Or do you mean he can only die of old age?
No, he's not immortal if it means "he can't die".

Jason can die, you just can't kill him with any means available to humans. As far as I know, he can die of old age and it might be possible to kill him with MAGIC or some weird stuff, so he's not immortal. He's not invincible either, 'cause you can hurt him...

He's just Jason, man.

Ooh, right... So he CAN die, but not with the "tools of the trade" humans posess? You should've said that earlier, Kharn my man ;)

You'd think with imortality like freddy has you might do something else besides kill things, like maybe contemplate the meaning of existence, or something productive.

Uhm...I would've, but you kept interrupting me! Damn kids.

I'm not sure if Freddy's immortal either.

From what I can remember, Freddy is only immortal as long as there is fear and suffering in the world. That's "what he lives for". If there's less fear/suffering, he grows weaker. He's, like, "ancient evil stuff"...Which is why he revives Jason, 'cause there isn't enough killing (yeah, right)

As for Jason, he couldn't contemplate the meaning of life. There's this great scene in Jason X where they're looking at a scan of Jason's brain and wondering how someone can survive with such a small brain.

He will die when the writers do or the movies stop selling.

Once a movie moves into space, you know the franchise is in trouble. Hellrasier, Leprechuan, Jason...

That movie was OK as a cheesy (CHEESY) horror movie, but was undoubably the worst in the series. Even worse than the one where he could switch bodies via an alien through people's mouths. (once again, OK horror movie, shitty F13)

Well mainly that's true for some of the horror movies, but Alien was a horror movie in space, and that franchise was not in trouble. It returned to space several more times, although they started getting worse after Aliens.

Ah, but Alphawulf, Alien was about a monster in space from the start. When other horror series decide to go into space, it's because they've run out of better ideas.

And honestly, with people like Ridley freakin' Scott and James Cameron at the helm, it's no wonder the first two Alien movies are great.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Yah I agree the Jason and more budget-minded Leprechaun series should have just ended instead of going into space. But the leprechaun series always was a crappy franchise. Midgets are put on this earth to entertain those that are taller than them.

It was the screen writer's indecisiveness that made Alien 3 crap, and what I don't get is how the Government got their hands on Ripley's DNA if she incinerated herself.

Guys, it's a movie! Who cares if Jason is immortal or not? Hollywood is a capitalistic enterprise, so they would pump out movies even if the dude has burst into flames, had his head chopped off or been mauled by Radscorpions.

I think Freddy Vs. Jason was filmed in Canada, Toronto specifically.

That's good. Toronto is a scary place. Just look at their mayor!

He was cooler as the owner of the Bad Boy furniture store chain. Not a lot of days left in the office for him.

Toronto is a scary place, ugly hookers at Younge and Jarvis.

The Thing could be taken on with some hair-spray and a lighter.

I've should of typed A Clockwork Orange...

It's my second favourite Kubrick flick, I highly recommend you watch it.

Hey, what was the entity in The Thing? Was there even a basic villian?
