hmm been playing Deus Ex again, for the fourth time I think, I keep finding new things...
I never knew there was a secret floor under jacobsons office, I never tried the mission to save smugglers friend, and meet the MJ12 for the first time, I never really bothered with the junkies and zyme and so forth. Fantastic game.
As for HL2, well... I don't expect the same geniusity from deus ex, or the long gameplay, and replayability, but rather a good one-shot gaming experience, and then some awesome mods.

I suppose you'll have to wait to use the public servers as I had to then the DL itself takes about 6-8 hours on DSL. The video though is a full 20:40sec long. DL it when you have plenty of time to stay online and go do something else maybe go to the movies then go out to eat.
You might be able to find faster DLs but this is a Gamespy exclusive and basically compiles all the other videos out there on the net.
I think I creamed my pants while watching it, I don't know whats better sex or Halflife 2
Yes, I've heard the same thing about Doom 3 when it comes to multiplayer. John Carmack will most likely create a free patch (Ala Deus Ex.) or a expansion pack. (ala Unreal 2, last I checked.)
There's no way Half Life 2 can screw up, with a game this big, Valve can't risk fucking up. (Pardon mon francais.)
Counterstike 2? Minh Le out of Vancouver must be thinking the same thing.
Rumour has it that Half Life 2's Multiplayer will be Team. Freaking. Fortress. 2.

Hoorah!
Half Life 2 will be better in gameplay, Valve knew what they were doing in the first one.
I know this dude who played the illegal copy of the Doom 3 Alpha. He says that it's not so scary, and the AI is good. Then again, it is an Alpha version.
On the subject of FPSs, five bucks says Duke Nukem Forever will turn into Unreal.

I know of a person who played it too, they say its that screen of the dead guy in the bathroom. You walk in there and the Hell dog thing runs away so you go off and try to find it then the dead guy with his guts hanging out on the floor wakes up and takes a couple of swipes at you.
Duke Nukem Forever has switched graphics engines so many times they must have wasted about 2 million dollars on what are now Out-of-Date engines like The Quake 2 and Unreal engines.

Sounds like John Romano's ub3r-kool FPS.Alphawulf wrote:Duke Nukem Forever has switched graphics engines so many times they must have wasted about 2 million dollars on what are now Out-of-Date engines like The Quake 2 and Unreal engines.
Old graphic engines aren't that bad when they're modified a bit. Look at Elite Force 2, it looks sweet for Quake 3.
