You fucking idiots, Bush doesn't look like a chimp, he looks like Alfred E. Nueman.

Image + Image = Image

I came up with this concept years ago when he was running, you fatten his face up and change his nose and give him the gap-toothed grin, and whamo, you've got Alfred E. President. I guess all those pumper stickers really worked.

Weren't there only like 600 games for the NES released in the United States? Not saying thatisn't a lot of games, but you know, 10 million games on one cartridge? Hmm, I dunno, seems like a lot of crap to toss on one cartridge in the first place.

Plus if you look at the screen shots, you can see that a lot of the "games" are really just events in the olympics game. Plus they repeat on the two screenshots (duckhunt is on both for instance)

but of course. I've had one of those super duper cartridges before, it had "only" 1001 games, of which about 10 were different, the rest were just the same game with a different name, gah

I don't mind, really. I think it's cool. I'm getting this for novelty. It's fun to play ROMs on my PC, but I want the feel of a control, and the hugeness of a TV, too..I could go buy an old NES, but I'd be spending $50 or so, plus the games are hard to find..These have a few games built in. The one I got has 76 real games...That is quite expensive if you're buying them from garage sales or even pawn shops..Check the prices for a real NES on eBay with a comparable # of games.

I never liked Sega. I think my favorite game was.......Shadowman? Something about a dead ninja that takes souls. He kind of looked like Raiden from the original Mortal Kombat. It was essentially a ninja version of Castlevania.

I really enjoyed my NES. I had about 50 games and played them constantly. Favorite all-time game (even now) is probably River City Ransom.

I wasn't too thrilled with SNES...I only liked the fighting games (Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat (1,2,3,Trilogy)).

On the Saturn, I played Battle Arena Toshinden, and that lasted about two weeks before I sold the damned thing to a guy at work.

Got a PlayStation after I broke up with my girlfriend. It was a good replacement. Favorite games were Wipeout XL and Wipeout 3. I sold that a few months ago with about 70 burned games for $25.

Now I've got my XBOX...Voodoo Vince and Vexx are some kick-ass games. I'm also quite keen on Jet Set Radio Future and Quantum Redshift. Plus it plays DVDs..All good.

As for my GameBoy; I picked it up about a month before GameBoy Advanced came out, so I really got screwed on that deal. I don't wanna sound gay or nothin', but I think Pokemon is pretty cool.

$50? Are you an idiot? You can get one for $10 or even $5 sometimes. And the games are a dime a dozen! (Though possibly hard to find, true.)

The good games are still expensive, if you're buying from anyone who knows what they've got. I'm sure you can get them cheap on ebay, but in used game stores Dragon Warrior is still like 15-20 bucks, and the gold original zelda, it's the same if not more. The crap is all like 2-4 bucks though, like the Mad Max game :D I would've bought it one time, except I realized, I have the rom, and I don't have a fucking clue what's happening any of the time so it would be a total waste of money.

I've found old NES consoles for less than $50..And 90% of the time they don't work. $50 is for a solid working system. If you can find a top-loading NES
(kind of looks like a big SNES), then you should expect to pay more than $50.

As for games...Everyone already said it. The good games are expensive..The shit games are cheap. I found River City Ransom for $3 at a flea market, but when I got it home, it was Super Mario/Duck Hunt with a RCR label...Got it from a used game store for $8 though. Damn, I love that game.

heh. I used to play the first pokemon games pretty heavily when they came out. (Red and Blue). Eventually it just came down to me and friend playing against each other repeatidly. I always won.

Sega Genesis was cool, with games like Shining Force I & II and strategy games like Rampart.

Well..It couldn't do any of that, but I enjoyed it a lot more, plus with a mod-chip I could play all the Turkish VCD porn my friend brought back after being stationed there for a year.

meh i payed about 80 canadian for 3 working nintendo systems with 2 guns and 6 controllers plus some extra gear like those strap on turbo controller things.

i can get games for 5 a piece at a pawnshop down the street. they even have a pretty good selection.

i also got a couple snes' for 40 with the controllers and i can get games for 5 for it. cant seem to find the gun tho.

i cant seem to find sega games tho, they seem to be the rare items around here.
