Fallout > Torment. Torment had too many stupid flaws for its own good. Plus, the Infinity Engine. Need I say more?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
I keep hearing so much about Torment, was it really that great? I played it a little but wasn't terribly intrigued by it. I felt a little trapped within that city, though I don't know how much more the game opens up later.
The city (Sigil) is really well designed, though I admit it's kind of slow to start. The best part is the mind-blowing plot, though a lot is missing and the game is way too linear. Still, it's something that I'd say deserves to be played through once.

It's awesome. And if you can overcome the low resolution, which practically means sticking to non-magic / non- ranged weapon users, it doesn't really look so bad. Animations are pretty neat and the city of Sigil is really sweet.
But, as said, the plot is the best part. It's a god damn philosophical journey to human mind and immortality. A pearl for a game.
