Drugs for all, no matter how "bad". The Marijuana Party of Canada has it down (they even sell seeds for fundraisers), though I'd rather vote NDP or even Green. I can think of many things worse than a nation of burned-out hippies.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Prostitution - Lets do this in an organized manner. Liscenced Whore Houses with weekly STD & AIDs testing for each prostitute. Every "John" must provide two (2) forms of ID, including one with recent photograph and be entered into a registry at each site. Said "Johns" must undergo STD and AIDs testing BEFORE being receiving "services." Condoms and other precautions are mandatory. And how about a flat rate of $125 per hour?

I completely agree with you on prostitution, though... Well, maybe not on the flat rate of 125 per hour, but otherwise yes. To be more precise, I'm against all kinds of flat rates for non-essential services, because that can pretty much kill the competition.
Netherlands & New Zealand have been doing real good after the legalization of prostitution. It has seriously helped to control and exterminate the ill-effects it brings along.

Yeah..I suppose you're right. I've been looking into partnering up with some people to open a strip club..It's a no-brainer that the hot chicks make more money...So I think I will drop the flat rate. I just don't think it's cool to have places that get all the hot chicks..With a flat rate, the hot chicks are spread pretty evenly throughout (if the conditions are right).
Actually one of the most expensive strip clubs here has the fattest ugliest chicks..Kind of weird..You have to wear a suit, costs $20 to get in..And all the chicks are nasty...But they stay in business because people assume it's amazing...Maybe the chicks give out "favors" moreso than at other bars..I don't know..I've only been there twice...Job interviews and such for a bouncer position.
How about those strip clubs that let 16 year olds dance? Anyone experience this? I was in the southern part of my state, and there was a club that said 18 to enter, and the parking lot was packed....The chicks ranged from 16 to 18..No drinking...no smoking...But you could get anything else you wanted from these girls...It was...odd.

I never said that...I am opposing the 18 to smoke/have sex thing..Moving it to age 16.Kashluk wrote:Because you're opposing all age restrictions, are you against them when concerning sexuality as well? That would mean things like pedofilia would no longer exist...
As of now, the age of consent is like 16 (a few states have it set at 14, still), I belive, but you need parent's permission..I'm saying I'd abolish this and let 16 year olds fuck whomever they wish without their parents consent. Hence, 16 is no longer a minor (let em vote, and be drafted as well). They're gonna fuck anyway, and it's better for those people accused and convicted of "statutory rape" (sex with a minor with or without parent permission). 15 and under is off-limits sexually for adults..Duh.
I watched an interview on 60 Minutes with a black 18 year old that screwed a white 16 year old in one of the somewhat segregated/racist parts of America, and the parents of the chick found out...So they decided it was rape, and the guy went to jail for statutory rape..Just because she was 16...
I personally know a number of people who have been thretened with the statutory rape thing when I was in high school...One of my friends (18) was dating a 16 year old girl, and her parents threatened to have him locked up..And they could have, even though the age difference is only 2 years, and they are both still in highschool.
Hell, my girlfriend was 17 when we hooked up, and I was 21...I could have gone to jail...Her dad's a cop, too..But apparently he likes me, so it was all good...Now she's 19 and I'm 23...Just thought I'd throw this in.
What about the whole thing in..(was it Brave New World?) where sexuality is no longer taboo..Kids play "doctor" and such, and there is no negative stigma associated with it as it's just something natural.
I'm in no way condoning or permitting pedophilia. I'm a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse, and I help out with a lot of internet groups that hack/shut down kiddie porn rings. I'm also an educator. Pedophiles are not good for anyone.
The reference above to the strip club with 16 year olds is a place that already exists..I've went there when I was about 19 thinking it was just a regular strip club.
Yeah, but you're already a bald neo-Nazi who (I assume) drives a large pickup truck, so no shit? Tell me something I don't know.Mandalorian wrote: id rather be run by hitler than be run by hippies.
They banned smoking in bars in Toronto yesterday. Neat stuff.

Yeah..Denny's is the only restaurant around here that still allows smoking..I had a meeting with the franchise owner and the corporate people about a year ago and talked it over with them..I probably didn't have much of an impact, but in general, the people who wander across the street from the bar usually smoke, and Denny's is the only thing around, and even open..So smoking just had to continue there. Seperate ventilation was installed in January. Yay!
Oh, yeah...Ehrm..The smoking thing..Well...Smoking kills you...Drinking in excess kills you..But if the people have alcohol readily available and there isn't deemed anything wrong with it, they won't really drink often or en excess. Most people I know pretty much stopped drinking after they turned 21..It wasn't thrilling anymore. But smoking...It's addictive and it destroys the lungs/throat/mouth..
I dunno...I suppose it is moralistic.
Just call me George Bush Jr. Jr...No..Don't.

It keeps coming and going. Most bars fight it,b ut if they're caught it is a huge slap in the face and a mild fine.

Yeah, I'm all for banning smoking in public spaces. But if there's a need for a smoker's room / corner / half of the hall, then build a wall between the smoking and non-smoking areas.
In some places back here in the woods they call one corner of a pub the non-smoking section. There are no doors or walls between the two, so the smoke just spreads like shit.
Personally I dislike the smell of tobacco and don't want to be inhaling that stuff (which in some cases can have more harming substances than the smoke which the smoker himself recieves -> because of the filter) unwillingly when I'm trying to enjoy my meal etc.

Oh yeah? Well I smoke unfiltered cigarettes. HA!
Seriously, I don’t see a reason for this complete ban. A person should be allowed to open a restaurant for smokers, and simply people who don’t like smoke don’t go. The complete ban is about as intelligent as shutting down all the raves because classical fans don’t like the atmosphere. Well except in this case the rave causes cancer.
