The greatest original movie sound track of all time.

Forgot to mention:

All of Eric Serra's movie scores (least in movies that I've seen where he did the score) are simply amazing.

These include:
The Fifth Element
Niktita
Leon
Goldeneye

He's got a very unique style, and I really enjoy the music.

Another sound track I liked alot was The Wipeout XL soundtrack that was released when Wipeout XL for playstation was released. It was lots of electronic fun with bands like Fluke, Photek, Chemical Brothers and The Future Sound of London.

As for video games, I'd say it's a tie between Killer Instinct (the CD released when the game was released on the SNES) and the Wipeout clone called Cyber Speedway for the Sega Saturn. The Saturn game's ST kicked major ass, and I'd play the game just for the music sometimes.

If we're gettin into video game soundtracks, I actually have to say "Call of Duty" has one of my favorite soundtracks around. Only one I can think of at the moment that rivals it is "fallout".......or Mario....seriousily......Mario had a hardcore catchy soundtrack.

Another cool soundtrack that was badass 50's sci fi was Mars Attacks. I liked the fact they kept true to the way 50's sci fi music was done. And Tom Jone's- It's not unusual was badass.

Run Lola Run is what I like most at the moment. I like the soundtracks for David Lynch films too, especially Mulholland.

Speaking of David Lynch do you know if he is still doing work with Julie Cruise? Also is he going to release anymore movies or bring any of his older movies such as Eraserhead, Lost Highway, or Twin Peaks:Fire Walk With Me or even the tv series on dvd? It would be great to see him churn something newer out because he is getting on in years and might pass away like so many others like Kubrick and Frankenheimer.

Dude, Eraserhead is on DVD. It's like 50 bucks and you can only buy it straight from his website, but it is.

I haven't got desperate enough for it yet. 50 > Need.
