That would mean more from anyone but you.
It was a great series, you'd never think a team down 0-3 coming off an 18-9 loss would be able to come back... that's what makes sports exciting, you never can tell and anything can truly happen.
Hockey is much better then baseball for the reasons subhuman stated. Subhuman is a smart guy. Except he said hockey blows. For that he is subsmart.
Baseball is too slowed pace to be the best game ever, as hyped up by many people. But then it does have it's own appeal. There is such a game as too fast paced, like basketball, which is probably the most overhyped sport ever.

Hah, you've obviously never watched a complete baseball game, or a hockey game. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that you've never watched any sporting event, ever. I've been following baseball rabidly for three years now, and what it lacks in non-stop action, it MORE than makes up for in its intricacies and subtle nuances. The strategy for baseball is way more complicated than the strategies for other team sports...
Basically the bottom line is you can't really enjoy baseball unless you actually have some knowledge about the game, and the strategies behind it. This is the big difference between baseball and the "action" sports... someone with no knowledge of the NBA or NFL can sit down and be entertained by a match. This is why I think it's lame when people nod their heads sagely and say "Baseball is too slow for my tastes", even though they don't have a single fucking clue how the game works.
Franz, I don't really know anything about sports, so I'm not saying anything, but when the only person on your side is fallout ranger, you've got to reassess your circumstances or something.
I'm on Franz's side. I find hockey to be pretty boring, and while I don't really follow baseball, I do like to watch it (I know all the nuances and stuff from when I was obsessed with it when I was much younger). Fallout Ranger's approval, however, is inexcusable.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

You're right. I'd rather stand alone on this issue than have him backing me up... so there's really only two solutions: I renounce my assertion that Baseball is the coolest thing ever, or I hunt down FR and fuck his dog. And I think we all know I would NEVER, under ANY circumstances, renounce baseball.
I understand all the intricacies of baseball... I've played and watched for a while. It's just a little slow. Like I said, it's not the worst sport ever, but it's not the best. There is a lot of strategy involved in hockey too... many set plays and formulas you can run. But just like baseball once the puck leaves the stick/ball leaves the bat, it's broken, and anything goes really. What makes hockey more interesting, to me, is that once that play breaks down, EITHER team can score. Baseball... they score or they don't. You don't have to worry about playing it defensively because the other guys can get the winning point at any second... you just have to go out and get it yourself and then focus on stopping them. It makes it somewhat... one-dimensional.
And basketball... I'll never understand how you can call it an American sport. It's like tennis... just back and forth, point after point. No contact... no intensity. It's no wonder FR likes it, it's the only sport he can play without everyone else kicking his ass.
Shit... I hate to say it, but I'm an NBA fan too. It's pretty retarded to argue "My sport is better than yours"... it's not like you're ever going to convince a canuck that hockey sucks... and you'll never convince me that baseball is boring. For instance I'd be bored out of my mind if I sat down and tried to watch a hockey game, or soccer game, or football game. But I am glued to the TV when the Giants or the Warriors are playing.
So I guess it all boils down to personal preference? OMG!
