Talon creeps carefully closer to the beast as it makes no sound nor any movement. Perhaps the thing is dormant? Large parts of the metal shows severe signs of rust but on some parts you notice a yellow layer of colour. Touching the machine feels cold, like most metal, and you conclude the thing might be dead, on a first glance. Examining it you find something partially written on the side: Cate.il..ar, build .o ..st, N° 48...36
Near the writing hangs a loose panel, which when opened shows the inside of the thing: cables, pistons, lightbulbs,... In the middle of the side seem to be footholds that lead to a small compartiment on top of the beast. Opening a small door shows you a with mildew covered seat and some handles. The glass that partially forms the driver' s seat is greasy and filthy. Carefully examining the beast' s inside you stumble upon some rather strange things. Underneath the seat you find a metal cylinder that appears to be holding something liquid. Opening the top, a powerfull stench reaches your nostrils and you decide to quickly discard it' s contents. A small compartiment next to the handles opens up as you accidentily bump against it. Inside you found some worn gloves, a small stick with a button on the side which doesn' t seem to do anything, a small wrench and a screwdriver and a plastified booklet: Operation manual for Caterpillars.

Talon puts the items in his bag. He then climbs off the thing, figuring that whatever it is, it isn't dangerous at the moment. Talon proceeds to call the others over to see what he has found, as well as the door into the building, and the items scavenged from the beast.

Mumbling sommething, Andrew search in his sling bag ant take out the half-full bottle of "Finest malt" and pour a couple of drops from it on his wound. -Hope that will help... he mutters.
-Arrrrgh! Holy spirits! It is scathing!
Andrew is using "First aid" on himself as many times as he can. 3 times I believe.
He tries to make a bandage hith somme pieces of cloth ripped apart from his shirt.
I think this will keep him ocupied for somme time so he is waiting for the others to search the place without him for somme time.

Duriel stops for a moment as the others go towards the stone building and the catepillar, staring off into the distance. He snaps out of whatever trance he was in and catches up, looking over the catepillar. He grins a bit and goes over to Talon, to see what he's found. Hearing Mordecai, he nods.
I'll try getting up there... he hesitates a moment, then drops his bag next to the catepillar and straps his crossbow to his back Keep an eye on that for me. He goes over to the tower and circles it slowly, looking for either a door inside or a ladder outside, and listening for anything at all.

Duriël (or Renfeld) climbs a sturdy ladder that leads to the top of the watchtower. Another cable runs from the top of the lookout towards the shed. Up here it seems to be split into two pieces: one is attatched to a rather large lamp, unfortunatly the lamp is broken. The second cable runs to a loudspeaker that' s got a birdsnest in it. From up here you can easily oversee the surroundings; behind the wall and gate lies a large domain covered in snow. Various piles and large pits litter the ground as do some strange and large machines. The whole domain is again surrounded by high walls with barbed wire on top of it and some makeshift sheds are placed along the farthest wall.
Andrew spends some time cleaning and bandaging his wounds. (you succeed in healing 3 hp)
After Talon catches up with Mordecai both enter the large door of the stone building. The building' s inside is a total mess; the floors are littered with stone debris, broken pieces of wood and all sorts of broken glass and plastics. Against one wall stand the remains of a primitive but large waiting room, but most of the seats seem to have been chopped up. Against another wall stands a reception desk and some metal lockers. A strange metal door with some electronic device next to it is set in yet another wall. Unfortunatly, the electronic device seems to be dead or inactive. The last part of the large room contains a staircase leading up and two smaller rooms. It is very noticeable that others have been here before you; one corner shows distinct signs of a small campfire being made here and various tribal graffiti cover the walls showing drawings and slogans.

Inquisitively, Mordecai makes his way over to the groups of lockers. Wary of any traps, he opens the first locker and pokes inside. (If nothing bad happens, Mordecai'll continue to open the rest, examining the contents of each in full).
After that, Mordecai will proceed to give a quick comb over to the rest of the building, starting on this floor and working upwards...

Some of the lockers show signs of bashing. Indeed you find some broken locks amidst the glass and other rubble beneath you feet. One locker even seems to have been penetrated by small pellets near it' s lock and shows signs of burning. The lockers seem to have been scavenged either by their previous owners or by other tribals that already visited the site before you. With some luck you still manage to find some small metal cones in a little box at the bottom of one of the lockers.
5 9mm AP bullets Further rummaging through the lockers earns you a small flat object with a + and a - on the sides and a small lightening symbol, a box containing light bulbs, a smashed keyboard, a blue overall with torn sleeves and a deck of cards.
Sorry if I can' t keep all the item descriptions vague but sometimes I really don' t know how I should explain it otherwise. Ah well, just roleplay it
While mordecai searches the lockers Talon keeps an eye open for possible danger but can' t retain himself from observing the surroundings more closely. This is the biggest building you have ever seen and there are so many strange things about this place. Your eyes venture over the grafitti on the walls when suddenly you notice a strangely familiar name written on the wall: "Alleron was here" it says. Where have you heard that name before?
With the main hall cleared the two of you venture into the two smaller rooms next to the staircase. Some filecabinets have been thrown to the floor and their contents spilled all over the place. Each room holds an examination table and some strange instruments arrayed on display in a glass cabinet. One of the rooms also holds a sturdy white desk filled with junk and papers but it is not this that draws your attention. In the chair behind the desk sits a skelleton in plain white coat and green clothing, his head knocked backwards. Closer examination shows that something made a hole in the frontside of the skull, something sharp. You are starting to get an eerie feeling about this place.

Talon gets Mordecai's attention and points out the "Alleron was here" mesage. Isn't that Andrews' brother's name? Maybe we should tell him about this.

Duriel takes a good look around from the top of the watchtower, trying to make a mental note of where everything is. Seeing Mordecai and Talon dissapear into the stone building, followed by Andrew, he climbs back down and makes his way to meet them. Once he catches up, he'll describe what he saw from the tower, the most notable being the shacks on the far wall of this complex.
Maybe someone still lives here? It definitely looks like this place has been gone through by others, besides those who used it originally. He says, gesturing to the graffiti on the walls and the various other sgins.

While Mordecai inspects the rest of these two chambers, Talon points Andrew towards the grafitti on the wall depicting a sign from his brother. Duriel is quite intrigued by the inside of the building, the markings and grafitti on the walls in particular. While gazing around at the high walls and ceiling he fails to notice something lumpy on the floor and fumbles. Getting up but still surprised he notices the thing is a half-decayed backpack containing various stuff: a metal brick-size object with a lightening symbol on the side, something that looks like a plastified map and some strange metal tools in various sizes (wrenches and screwdrivers) organised in a weathered leather bag.
Mordecai searches the room with the skelleton and finds some small tin boxes with a small red cross on it (2 of them), a couple of syringes (3 stimpaks) and on the skelleton you find a yellow and green package containing some pills and a plastified card with a picture of an older man with a beard and a name next to it: Dr. Brenner. N° 02217. Security clearance Level 2. On the back of the card runs a black stripe all along it' s length.

Mordecai takes the tin boxes, the syringes, the pills, and the odd looking card. He stares at the man's picture on the card for a while. What an odd looking man... well, Dr. Brenner, I wonder what else you have left here.
He then turns out of the room and talks to Andrew. See anything at all out of place? Coming closer, he sees the large bag of stuff on the floor. Woah! What is that? He bends down to get a good look at it. Does he recognize anything?

-My brother was here! Maybe this is the place where he has found those strange items...Let's search this place! Maybe we can find other clues to what has happened with nhim!
Andrew examine the things that his friend have found (if they show them to him).
Out of character
================
Please specify the items that he can recognize.

Duriel takes a quick look at the contents of the backpack, then empties the strange box with the lightning bolt and the watch tools into his own sack and then tries to find a window or a hole where some light is coming through to examine the map, hopefully being able to gleam some information from it. Idly, he asks to none of the triibals in particular,
What brings you three here, anyway? You seem a bit too well prepared to have gotten lost, as I did.

I' m not sure if you got this right but the metal brick-size object with the lightening bolt is a battery or power cell and the wrenches and screwdrivers (the tools in various sizes) are part of a repair kit.
The map depicts the surroundings and is dotted with various black and red lines, connecting names. Unfortunatly you recognise none of the names, except Fort William. This must be an ancient map.I' ll try to upload the Ancient map to the group asap so you guys can compare it to the other one.

Talon looks at the others. Our mission is had to describe. Many of us have had prophetic dreams, and are trying to figure them out. Andrew, Talon indicates Andrew. is ooking for his brother. He can describe what happened, and his reason for being here. We same to be heading in the same direction, so we joined forces. Safety in numbers. And, I believe that it wasn't just coincidence that he decided to go at the same time as our dreams.

Duriel had never heard someone speak so logically while also talking such nonsense all at once. He listened as Talon spoke and nodded, then thought to himself. He didn't believe in any prophecies or magic but he couldn't deny Talon's claim that there was safety in numbers. Reluctantly he pushed back his skepticism and grinned at the man.
Well then... perhaps it is no coincidence that you three stumbled upon me? Strange, isn't it... that you three ended up here just before I did, in a place that seems otherwise abandonned. If anything there is safety in numbers, so we might as well travel together around here, where wolves and worse are waiting for stragglers.

In the meantime Mordecai scours the building, going up towards the next floor via the staircase. The walls along the staircases are riddled with holes and show signs of something charing them. Arriving on this floor you notice three wooden doors, all knocked down, revealing three offices, another staircase going further upwards and a metal elevator door. The offices look a lot like the ones on the floor below; trashed, full of disorganised papers and junk.
Rummaging through the junk you find: various empty glass vials in a cardboard package, a couple of empty syringes, half a package of deathsticks named Lucky Strike protected by a small metal casing, a pair of broken glasses, a spool of copperwire and a silver lighter.
In the corner of the room opposite to the elevator lies a skelleton wearing a dark grey garb, clutching it' s side with one hand. Closer examination reveals a badge on the grey vest depicting a red hammer and sickle. Underneath runs a nametag of some sort that says: Четвертая освободительная команда нападения. The vest has various bloodstained holes near the side it clutches. Whatever the corpse was carrying, it has all been scavenged by now.
