So about that .50 Cal AR-15 upper receiver- ¿Anyone got anything other than just a pic of it? I have a purely prurient interest in the subject.
And on that note- The is a 5.56MM belt fed AR-15 upper receiver, the Shrike 5.56 IIRC. It actually allows for box-fed operation as well, though how good it really is is another matter entirely- All I could find on it was company-sponsored information.
On a related note, ¿has anyone seen the video of the 5.56MM revolver? I saw it on a right-wing militia site during the CLINTON Presidency, haven’t found it since. (That the site turned out to have some Neo-NAZI members might have had something to do with its eventual demise.)

Not auto, but it is a cannon, and made from the barrel OF a 30mm autocannon:

Safety harbor firearms, Bohica, Zel Custom. I wish they made 50 DTC ones.

We've been trying to move on from you and your topics, collectively, for over a week now, and you refuse to let us move on from the retard.

Also, it takes less effort to write "moving" and makes you look like less of a lifeless nerd.

A nice pic of an older style cannon, roughly Civil War Era.

Magpul AK  , i intend to build one. The guts of it should only be a minor job, cut dust cover for the LH charging handle, and weld the handle to the bolt.

Looks a little bit too much like plastic for my liking.

Guess I can't really say anything as my Steyr's stock is made out of a composite plastic, but to be fair, the shit is pretty high quality and tough. Dunno about the AK clone, but atleast with my model, it's pretty damn neat if you ask me and while I'm ussually against composites for firearms, I can see why it's nice to have.

I'm iffy too, but an empty glock 21 weighs 1 lb 10 oz....that sells me. Speaking of that, i kinda have my eyes set on an XD-M 45 as opposed to Glock. Insightful data?

I'm more of a 'blood&steel' kind of guy myself. Somehow I just can't trust a firearm that's for the most part made of composite materials.

I’m curios what the result would be if some of the “classic combat rifles (the M-1 Garand, M-1919, and BAR most especially) were redesigned with modern techniques.

Can't help but feel that way a bit too. There will always be that "what if" factor.

Between me and my dad there's like nine or ten. I only own three of them, though.

See through magazine? I cant belive this wasn't done before. Wow...

edit: I mean I think I've seen it before on one of those round drum guns but mostly homemade stuff. I can't belive that like every modern rifle doesn't have it.

It has been, but not very often. The XM-8 is one example.
Generally they don’t get done because of a fear that the plastics will create a shiny area (exposing the shooter’s position) and that they might break too easily.
