CBR..You really are a moron. Turks are not arabs. Many of them are muslims, yes, but they're not arabs.

First, most are palish white of skin instead of the usual arab brown. Second, their hair growth, profile and pretty much every other feature differs a lot from your typical arab.
Third, the term Arab comes from the Arabian language. That language was never spoken by the Turks. The Turks (Osmans, Ottomans) took over what is now Turkey when they left their homeland further East and their language was more simliar to Persian than to Arabic languages.

I meant a nation where the population is predominantly muslim- in many places you would encounter hostility because you are american or in Guardain's case Isreali jewish, while in Turkey everyone was great, and I think I said that I considerd turkey part of the west......... :

A) We lost in Vietnam because we set totally arbitrary "no fly zones" and conscrpts only lasted 1 year. Russia does not make the same mistake. Afghanistan had American wepons to repel the invasion, too.
Egypt is considerd a "non fundementalist" and common belief is that Jews did it to get us angry at the arabs. I saved Turkey from these groups because Turkey is very, very diffirent, and is more West than East in many ways, suprisingly.

I'm new to this thread, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Foreign aid is the key to the whole damn thing. If our tax dollars weren't out there funding murderous bastards there would be no September 11. I am outraged every time I think about where my money goes. American taxpayers have indirectly funded dozens of assholes for years and years.

Now the Israelis (who, by the way, own our politicians through AIPAC, one of the biggest lobbys in Washington) are the new Nazis, and they're doing it with our money. They call their country a democracy, but I guarantee the only Israel-born Palestinians in the Knesset are scrubbing the toilets and serving the tea!

Of course, if you look at television you'll see another picture. Always, this Palestinian blew himself up on some Israelis. Never, this Palestinian died in an ambulance because it was stopped for hours at a checkpoint. Never, these Palestinians can't work today because the street's been closed. We watch Israeli tanks rumble down the streets and forget about the methods of the Nazis!

My taxes are paying for this butchery! September 11 was the receipt. It is a miracle that more attacks haven't occurred, the way we stick our necks out. We're out there trying to fix the world while our own country goes straight down the tubes! You want evidence of treason, find the guy who signs the foreign aid checks every year.
