vx trauma I suppose most would consider ours as "eye candy." Yet it was the one thing I wanted the most. To be able to portray a character more to my liking. I think that it would have added lots to the game. Especially if they would have done something that allowed one to finish the game w/o killing everything in sight! I've always hated hack and slash games with no other option. To me that's not role play. That's more like cowboys and indians. The FO system forces you into hack and slash mode. Even if your character is absolutely stupid, like IQ = 00. The stupid game seems to overproduce mentats so that your character can buy something so that she can talk.
I would have liked something, like a gecko dress or two, and it or they were hidden somewhere, anywhere, you know. And then if "any" character who found it, then wore it, then it would somehow have a dramatic and irreversable change in the outcome. Like a way in which to finish the game without violence and bloodshed. If there was some subtle yet fiendish purpose to the "eye candy" then it would make for I feel a wonderful roleplay experience. You can get the realism, but it comes with a price.

I'd like to see companions actually wearing their equipment.

This may have been cover above, but what I really, really, really.. would like it for them to redo FO and FO2 as it was supposed to be, with all the plots lines working, and all the bugs out of it.
As for 3, easy combine the storyline from 1 thru 2 and tactics and keep it retro 50's
Also, more drugs... I mean chems and being able to make them, more stealth killing, If a skill in in the list, give us a reason or seven to use it more often.
Real traps, (I just run up and down the traps in the raiders caves, and then call the guys to follow me..... Wish I could do that in RL)

Acid. Using it would twist time, alter graphics and make your character come down in random places with random things in the inventory.

I'd like not only to have the possibility to be a traveler but live in a town, protect it, trade and all these things... but then... it wouldn't be Fallout...
I'd just want to have a fun game, no matter the system or the developers. Everyone wants that anyway...

Cool effects when you drink your alcohol-inventory. Just like in Leisure Suit Larry 1: controlling character is nearly impossible ie going through a door would be hard . Combat would end up in a disaster with multiple bystanders gunned down by strays.

Eh... I never had any problems aiming a gun in FPS when I was playing drunk, except that I had a very slow reaction.
And if you're so drunk that you can't control your hands or your eyes, then you won't even realize that you ARE in a gunfight.

Steelcap boots for extra kick-damage.
Adjustable screen color filters for gloomy/druggy visions.
Crude mechanized limbs. No fancyass cybershit.
Nihilism.
Shitload of weirdos and villageidiots.

Filthy lies, mein juden!
...and a cynical floating skull named Morte?
You know, that's funny, because - remember the scenes from
Terminator, the ones with skull-littered ruins? Why weren't there any skulls in LA Boneyard? You could pick one up and throw it, I bet it would cause as much damage as Rock Mk.II
I want throwable skulls in Fallout 3!
