Game you're playing. How far you are.
Re: Game you're playing. How far you are.
I just finished DROP, another recent Microprose release. A movie type hacking game in the vein of Uplink, basically a fast-paced puzzle game. Beat it in 6.5hrs, probably 4hrs of it was fun but then the core gameplay loop got pretty repetitive and then it was basically doing the same thing over and over again (same as with Loop Hero).
Still it was a pleasant experience, the hacking missions take 5 mins max so if you want to play it I suggest doing just a couple of missions every now and then to keep it interesting. Weird disjointed plot and I don't know if any of the mission choices affected anything, no interesting easter eggs like finding something neat hidden in the systems either.
It's like 10 bucks on steam, worth it if you're into something like that. There's also a free demo, I suggest playing it for like 10mins, enough to give you a good idea of the game without having to repeat the early missions if you decide to buy it. I give it 2.8 out of 4

playing persona 5 royal, just finished the 1st dungeon, felt like a 12 hour tutorial but i dunno, it's not too bad, just a bit boring, seems ridiculously easy, i'm playing on hard and took down most mobs without taking a scratch. the boss took a few tries because i forgot there's stuff like buffs and debuffs since i hadn't needed them. i like the whole jungian concept behind it, it's kinda like psychonauts but not really. i don't understand anything about the mask fusions and am just doing random things for the most part i think. i'll probably do another dungeon before deciding if the game's worth finishing.

Yeah, Persona 5 dives deep into Jungian psychology, but those mask fusions can be a maze. Just roll with it; sometimes chaos leads to the best outcomes. Dive into another dungeon, the game's layers are worth unraveling.

Thank you for the words of encouragement Echo, I was getting ready to forget about the whole game but I'll keep on playing when I get the chance
