Date: July 7th 2008
Progress: 100 % (0/362 days left)
Rank: Second Lieutenant
Situated at: Home
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And thus I recieved my military passport, service record documents and a warm handshake
from my company chief. My job in the ranks is done. Now it's time to concentrate on civilian
matters once again. I had been looking forward to this, actually.
The "demobilization party" was awesome. Spent the whole weekend celebrating, pretty much
the way I described earlier. Couldn't help but giggle to myself when I saw these new raw
recruits enter the bus and begin their journey. God damn, they have no idea, no idea at all.
And to this sentence I conclude my one-year-long, one-sided and awfully biased inside story about
the Finnish Defence Forces: I will treasure every single moment, but I would never go back.
