It also weighs less, lasts longer before you have to change a battery, and is less fragile.
It also doubles as a portable usb mass storage device.
And it costs less.
The iPod Shuffle is both smaller and cheaper. There is no screen but like I just said a couple posts up, I have one, I don't mind one bit. It's not a big deal at all. It's like CD player in that respect.
But it is smaller, weighs less, Has a 12 hour battery life to Muvo's 15.
Also COSTS LESS.
Muvo 1gb - 209
iPod Shuffle 1gb - 149

Research!
The smaller size and weight of the shuffle doesn't really changes anything. The muvo is small and light weight enough that I don't care about it anyhow.
So we have less money, vs, a player with a screen, more battery life, and that can double as a USB disk on key thingy.
I'd say it's worth the price.

Screen + Extra battery.
And yes, it's worth the 60 dollars.
As I said, the size and weight is unimportant. So it's basicly a question of screen versus money.
I just like the idea of being able to choose what I listen too.
It's espicially important as my player won't just have a lot of silly short songs I could just listen to in a SHUFFLE (lol pun), but rather concept albums and compositions.

Some of the IPod add-ons are pretty cool though. Beyond all the other shit that goes without saying, having options is good. A kid I work with has an FM modulator on his, no wires to run it in his car etc.
I plan on buying a hard drive based one someday, but most likely I'll buy a 1meg flashdrive one sometime in the near future, probably from Creative.

Not a bad deck. You got subs and an amp to go with it?ExtremeRyno wrote:I've got an MP3 CD Player IN my car..Like..The Stereo, ya know. And I've got a MP3 CD Walkman. The one in my car never skips..Nor does it chew batteries. I never listen to music other than in my car. So Screw iPod.
My car stereo: Clickey
Whatever, just don't go iPod, lunchmeat. From what I know I'd say creative and rio players are pretty much on the same level when considering price and whatnot. I can't think of any major differences.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
