Most played games
So I found the polish site, Liero League, and conveniently there's article 'Liero vs. Liero Pro'. Because I have nothing else to do:
Liero 1.33 and Liero Pro Mode(Final or Revisited) are today's two most popular versions of Liero. Both versions have many players favouring one or other. Which is better? No, it's wrong question. Everybody have their own taste. So why some are playing one, and other the other one(Please don't blame me, this guy really writes like this)? It's best to answer the question listing Pro advantages over 1.33 and vice versa. On a side note, I favour Pro, and all 1.33 is good for are sandmaps.
Liero Pro's better 'cause:
- Faster, so more suitable for 'quake-like deathmatch' and open maps;
- Tuned physics, also more suitable for the above;
- New, better sounds and new, better graphic;
- Ability to aim (almost) straight down;
- Faster rope, with range of whole map;
- bodies and shells disappear and doesn't block bunnyhopping;
- balanced weapons;
- no stupid ammo packs.
I cutted the 1.33 advantages - you didn't missed much anyway

Liero Pro lepsze, bo:
- szybsze, dzięki czemu jest bardziej przystosowane do "quake'owego deathmatchu" i otwartych map
- stuningowana fizyka, także bardziej przystosowana do powyższych rzeczy
- nowe dźwięki, bardziej pasujące, i grafa, ładniej wyglądająca, niż ta w zwykłym Liero
- możliwość dania celownika (niemal) pionowo w dół
- szybsza linka, przelatująca całą mapę
- ciała i łuski znikają i nie blokują bunnyhopów
- wyważone bronie
- brak głupich paczek z bronią

Didn't see any difference, myself. Still, the "advantages" of "Faster rope, with range of whole map;" and "bodies and shells disappear and doesn't block bunnyhopping;" are not impressive. No wait, they're setbacks.
Tried something else today, on the crashy side. "Liero Xtreme" it was called, and it was fairly awful. Rope on a separate key, didn't see any way to tune the worm health and a bunch of crappy mods. I think they should just leave Liero as it is, on 1.33 and the earlier ones. It was in perfect balance, with more or less everything. Adding / Removing... Touching it at all should be considered a criminal act.
The sounds are rather horrid, but for a lenghty game the only real preference is some battlemusic in the background, making no use of the ingame sound anyway. Hell, feel like playing it again, but my liero buddy moved out of town a while ago, and I don't really have the motivation to make custom maps and graphics. Oh well...

Dont remember any ugly chicks, the guys were ugly enough, while falling especially. There was some fancy desert level as well, Ohio or Jemen or whatever, and secret cash stashes. But it was one of a series of games, I believe, so Im sure there's more then one Xtreme out there.
This isn't it.
This is probably some old version of it. Maybe it was called 3xtreme?
Now I'm closing in. How many Xtremes are there anyway?
I dont know, doesent look like it, but its probably one of those or something. 2xtreme or 3xtreme or whatever. The screenshots look like shit anyway. But the game itself was fun, alot about reflexes and keeping a cool head in speedy situations. Awesome multiplayer too.
EDIT!!!: I now clearly remember it having gates. So it's probably one of those with the gates. Yup!

Tekken 5 apperently contains a version of the first 3 tekkens located on one disk. It's also supposibily the best Tekken thus far.St. Toxic wrote:Put me down on Tekken 3, I've played it alot.
