I actually feel bad for the artists that fell for this loser. Mainly because this project will be a flop and they will likely never get paid. :(

That's subjective, and besides -- it's true, we only saw one work so far ( there'll be varying quality, mind you, but I doubt they'll get the "feel" right, any of them ). I'm sure Sam, or Dave, or whoever, worked very hard ( which I never do ) on that carnival-van cover painting thing. Thing is, to make something like that look good you need more than put some hard work in -- you need to be pretty fucking amazing and talented. I know my limits, I don't strain em' -- instead I work on getting the right idea through, putting some shoeshine on the details and first and foremost, I make it to look at least half-way professional.

EDIT: Sounds like I'm blowing my own horn here a bit. I'm not saying "I'm the best" here, I'm saying that if you ask me, that's what an artist needs to be doing first and foremost.

At GCG they obviously have piss poor project management, lacking research and, I'd assume, bad communication ( which was it now, Sam or Dave? ). Under these conditions, anything to come out of that 'band of brothers' will undeniably be shit.

But between you and me, guys, I don't think Sam'd notice the difference between the Sistine Chapel* and Troutman. You're off the force, buddy!

EDIT: Whatever happened to the sixteenth chapel? The post fifteenth one.

Naturally. Be my guest.
Can you make a version without "d20" and The Vault logo instead of the GC one placeholder?

DaC does not have a Sistine chapel. We refer to all of our chapels here by number only.

goddam, I have't been here the last, what, 2 days? and kablam! Master Toxic reifies a lil bit of our collective dream.

You work, as per usual, is fantastic, Tox. :salute:
You've just shown some people that the right style can be achieved with little effort if someone has a clue.
I suggest new members give you head on admittance.

edit: st. toxic's avatar animates in sync to the music i'm listening to. groovy. :joy:
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

hey guys, you know what GCG did (some new mod apparently) to the "art" thread that I started there? half of it (more? can't remember) was axed. Just like this. OH the deleter got spanked on his hand subsequently. Oh my. Funny thing is that the discussion in that thread was in mild language and had some artists-fans talk which you could call 'constructive' or whatever.

They are a joke, it's hard to believe they could do something as retarded even after having seen the 'intro' and 'cover'

It's an "Operator's handbook" presented by "the Vault".
