You just cover and try to pick of bad guys, there isn't much interactivity with the environment and no real hardcore good parts in the game. Just the same thing over and over. Also your AI teammates are incredibly dumb and will constantly get stuck or stand out in the open but you can just let them die and they will respawn next to you if you hit a check point either way. I was hoping for kick assness on the same level of RE4 but I haven't felt it yet.
The game is made for Warzone, and Co-op, or Assasination/Execution with high bleed timer if you arent playing with morons, why you are playing SP I know not.

Only played for bit but Psychonauts seems to be worthy of getting the award.

it's supposed to be "original" and "inspired" (or sometinhg) but the childlike graphics turn me off. So is it overall a kids' game?

i heard Guildwars:Nightfall is pretty gut. i stopped counting Guildwars-titles after the second D: dont know which part, but this one is the best. PvP and all that shiat and free accounts.

Others: Scarface, maybe for GTA-fans. dont know, but shooting is always gut.

Sniper Elite for Sniperwhores

The only games I bought and played in 2006 was Oblivion and Gal Civ 2, so I guess I'll have to say Oblivion. The anticipation was half the fun.

Remember when consoles were an o.k side-dish to the PC because of the platformers? Well, here's a great fucking platformer for the fucking pc.

Gothic 3 is okay, but really, really buggy and has some completely stupid unfinished things... Like some of the skills in the Character-screen have no trainers, one of the skills does not exist, one of them doesn't work properly and two don't work at all. Oh yeah and you can rise your strenght, endurance etc. (due to a bug) indefinitely if you carry just one temporary strength/endurance/health etc. potion.

Not to mention that most of the quests and scripts are b0rked too.

You should have played unpatched G1 and G2 D:

In fact, I am playing the Gothic II expansion (Night of the Raven) again at the moment. What an awesome game.

The part where I load my crew on board the ship and then set sail was my favorite from Gothic2.

The island approach for some reason reminded me of the H.R.Giger island.

Whatever that painting was called.

That's pretty much the ending, and in my current game, I'm quite far away from it ~~
Can't really recall the cutscene, it's been ages since I played G2 last.

By the way, have you played NotR (the expansion)? If you enjoyed G2, then this might be good. However, it was really designed for the die-hard G2 fans, so the difficulty has been raised substantially. SUBSTANTIALLY. You've been warned.

I remember when consoles were: Atari 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision.

I preferred my C64.

But there were things for the consoles that were good.

War Games was o.k.

I especially liked the readout listing the # of Megadeaths you incurred in the war.

C64 took ages to load though compared to say, atari. but the games were prettier. decisions decisions! then i got a master system and was rockin out in marble zone.
