PHALLOUT II: A NEW VISION
Its not new weapon gif. It was in Wasteland merc 2.
Thats just couple of custom gifs from the mod. There is more than that.
We are reusing crafting system from wm2 only different thing now is that we are making mining and cooking automated so all tedious parts of mod are gone. And we are making one time quests instead of repeatable quests. And we are removing worldmap and having completly new way to travel and get random encounters wich means no more conserving time wich was the biggest problem with wm2 mod.

What i am saying is that their mod should by all means be better and its not, might be fun to play it if you where planing to replay fallout 2 for god knows wich time and want it to be a bit different, even thoe prolonging arroyo and temple of trials wich everyone hates and rather just skip is wrong way to go if you ask me. I guess some of you liked that part of fallout 2.what does that have to do with anything?
And dont get me wrong i got nothing against TeamX. I use plenty of their tools when making Wasteland merc mods and they have done great things for the moding comunity. I dont even think new vision should be compared to wm2 mod cause they aim at 2 totally different things.
New vision is addon and wasteland merc 2 is mmorpg sumulation mod in fallout world.

I agree on most of what you wrote there, WM2 was never ment to be fallout 2 stile crpg, it was ment to be different game in fallout world. Only thing i dont like is when people try to describe WM2 mod as something simple and not inovative. Cause there is basicly no fallout 2 mod that has equally advanced features as wm2 has.also, it doesn't prolong the temple of trials and arguably it makes arroyo more interesting, because there's much more character development involved. i found the whole shaman/warrior quests and the betrayal stuff to be well written and executed, and it certainly adds something that fallout 2 lacked at that stage - actual roleplaying, which was why i praised the mod for being innovative (if narrow in scope) in the first place (which is why i compared it to wasteland merc, since roleplaying is a quality that wasteland merc lacks).
Plus wm3 is going to have plenty character development involved, there will be 10 main quests that give you features. Like when you solve quest you get a map to mines and that enables you to drive to mines with your car, all those kinda quest will have different solutions so you will be able to beat the mods main quest chain with no combat at all.
You will for example be able to boozer up quest giver if your int is 6+ and steal the map to mines from him instead of going and clearing his house out of scorpions for the map reward. You will allso be able to threathen him if your speach is high enough so he gives you the map.
