Is there father of all RTS games?
Herzog Zwei?
Just started playing Soldier of Fortune again.

That was a kick ass FPS. A very simple yet an high quality game, it was just plain satisfying. No stupid monsters, just bad guys everywhere. And the sounds were great.

That silver talon gun was mad.
No doubt. Too bad the second was so blah. Not really bad but it just didn't have the right feel.
Supposedly the third is plain awful.

I bet if Bethesda bought it and made it a FPS/RPG it would freaking rock!

Just downloaded the second one; will try it ASAP. Apparently the third one was made by another developper or something, and yeah it's terrible. Guess what, it was also developped for consoles.

Crusader No Regret (Playing it at the mo dosbox FTW) and No Remorse (Not as good just cause it is a bit laggy and shit.)

For DK i blame that wanker moleneux who never actually delivers on anything he promises, it was better when he did not promise anything at all and just wowed us. Genewars was the downfall, it could have been so cool.

I finally got a battery for my old Aptiva. Time for Crusader.

I love camping the teleports with a flame weapon.

Also the offices with the glass cubicles were hilarious.

flame weapon? WTF? What game is this you speak of? I just drop disrupters on the Telepads.

I am talking about No regret on the pc and afaik the only things you can set someone on fire with are rockets, holes in gas pipes and exploding barrels.

i don't care what anyone says..gene wars still occupies a warm spot in my heart. in remembrance of dk though... startopia really is quite similar and not bad. What was that "you are an evil genius with an island" game? heard it was quite similar and fun as well

Eli Barracude made the game WIN! And the torture was funny too, so all in all it was an ok to funny(ish) experience.

I recommend Republic: The Revolution.

I played "Loom" the other day and I must say it was perhaps one of the best games I've played in quite some time. Highly recommended. :nicolai: :nicolai: :nicolai: out of :spacecat:
