maybe in the beginning - I know he had a blue one after he wrecked his red whatever
Is The Road anything like "The Long Walk" - I think by Steven King ?
oh, and if you think Will Smith is bad, just watch any movie with Keanu Reeves. Will Smith is President of SAG by comparison.

I don't see why everyone hates on big willy, he makes entertaining movies. Seriously, pretty much every movie he is in now is a blockbuster, I wasn't expecting I, Robot to do nearly as well as it did at the box office and it was pretty decent too. Enemy of the state and Independence Day are good movies, fuck the haters. Though admittedly he wasn't the sole reason for them being pretty good. Fresh prince of bel air was also good too.
I know I said the same thing about Nicholas Cage and then he went and got on a retarded movie streak but I believe Will Smith will continue to do well with I Am Legend.

I see nothing wrong with Will Smith as an actor, and I think I am Legend will be good.

I was thinking the whole time, wtf this film has been released already, it's called Ali.
Will this legend thing be any different? I didnt watch Ali, though.

I read The Road last year in one sitting. It's fairly short and pretty good overall. The ending is a bit of a cop out after having so much depressing shit thrown at you. My only real gripe is how the author handles dialogs. There isn't a single quotation mark anywhere.

The book is always better than the movie (except maybe Logan's Run), but that doesn't mean that the movie can't be good too in it's own right.

I kinda thought that as well, but I figured it wasn't that much of an issue as much as them changing the book around to fit the movie. Still, it might be good?
Of course, skin colour is irrelevant in general.
I get the feeling this version is going to be as close to the book as Omega Man was.

I just got back from seeing it, it was pretty decent. A lot of people were saying it would be a mindless action movie and shit but it's definitely not. I heard some reviews saying it had bad special effects, which I can generally agree to.
The dog is like the morgan freeman of sidekicks.

The monsters/vampires don't look very real at all(not in the sense that they are monsters) but that they don't look authentic, nothing huge but maybe a sign it was rushed to meet the christmas break rush of movie goers.

Does anyone know what, if any involvement Frank Miller has with this? Is it going to be like 300 and Sin City where it's practically the same, or will it be a half-assed, water-down corporate studio piece of shit?

It isn't an adaptation of Miller's comic. But I wish they'd do that sometime.
