Regardless - here, take something from my personal collection of recreations that I fucking constructed and painted so you will hopefully and finally shut up. A 1:1 scale Luger. It's weathered and looks good. Note how the actual weathering isn't detracting from the model and that it looks like a REAL gun, not something a 12 year old got his hands on to try his new metallics paint set.

I think the major misunderstanding here lies in the fact that my painting style is based on actual SHADING and HIGHLIGHTING of objects. Exaggeration is common amongst model painters. Not all painters like it. I just gave my advise. You misunderstood something. Or I did (coz I usually don't bother reading this shit here anyway) and then Wolfman Walt started acting like a retard and quoting me and using raising font size to underline his retardation.

I respect people who paint replicas ACCURATELY and make them look like the REAL DEAL.
The thread was about a fucking LASER BLASTER. They can be pink with green elephants on them and still look realistic, as there are no LASER BLASTERS and probably never will, as lasers are proven to be useless for infantry use.

So just ALL shut the fuck up and be aware of different painting styles, skills, preferences and charged lasers. :pew pew:
