People actually take more DXM than they think though, its a popular thing to cut MDMA with along with amphetamines and meth. Funny that all of them are cheaper, but then again MDMA is actually pretty damn hard to manufacture.
A low dose of DXM (~300mg) actually feels quite a bit like rolling. I've since gotten back on the proverbial horse and experienced some music euphoria and had an energized feel throughout my body. I also felt like I had finished a 5th by myself.

Ahh.. I've probably had me some DXM if its an MDMA buffer. I got some pure MDMA "powder" from a friend at one time, was sort of like tiny tiny glass crystals. Put some in a rizzla, made a drop, and downed two before hitting the streets. Out-fucking-rageous. The paper was a bit thick, so it took a while for it to take effect, but it was an experience to remember.
Either way, DXM is not popular among the people I know, but I will sertainly try to get a hold of some. I wont bother with the weed lab though, my flatmates arent exactly down with the counterculture. What should it look like/smell like if its properly cut?

Ought to be off white - light yellow - light red depending on what it was extracted from and smell like menthol. Make sure you know what Naphtha smells like too so you can tell if its impure, a little Naphtha won't kill you though. If you smell Ammonia then its completely fucked, don't even think about taking it.
Pure MDMA should be off white and tiny tiny crystals. Sounds like you got legit stuff, I always find it to be pretty different from taking pressed pills. Not necessarily better, but great in its own way. A very clean roll.
