He said ANIMAL!

OMG, that spore plant is still alive!!?!@#123

As for mutants becoming almost (emphasis on almost, they can still die of old age), it's part of the FEV reaction and is explained I beleive by the sergent, the master, or maybe Zax... Can't recall... But it's mentioned.

That's Lieutenant, not Sargeant.
*Gasp* Red was wrong about something!

Anyways, I knew they were long-lived, but you make them out to be practically immortal.

well, look at how long Harold's been alive, and he's not done yet! Mutants should be "purer" then Harold too since he's not really been exposed to FEV... Compared to a human life - specially the short ones of the harsh wasteland, they do seem like immortals.

Well, what if ghouls are 'immortal' too? Although Harold is a mutant, but ghoul-lookin.

I remember there was some mention in Fallout about small or none amount of females, might have been the Vault Dweller asking the Master why there was no mutant females, or maybe I'm just hallucinating. :?
Sorry but I don't think so...BTW, the talking deathclaws were destroyed at the end of Fallout 2. Xarn and Goris did not go on to create a new species. They are gone. Kaput. Goodbye. In fact, any mutant animal that talks can safely be assumed to have died at the end at the exact minute that Fallout 2 was over.

Any last words, talking animals?

I thought not.

There all dead, every talking animal in the entire Fallout Univrse is gone
You did notice the sarcastic emoticon, right?

Perhaps, but I'm pretty sure he meant it. Can you imagine the shitstorm of hate mail BIS would get for putting talking animals into FO3?

The super mutants were created from normal people that were dipped in the vats.

It's only reasonable that some females were dipped as well.

Well, yeah, but there was no female super mutant model in Fallout 1, 2, or even FOT.

Yeah, but someone better check the conversation with Master, I think there was a line saying there were no female mutants. Possibly somewhere where you're convincing the Master to commit suicide. Spank me if I'm wrong.

I think your'e wrong.

I finished the game today.

I talked the master into killing himself.

I think there were some females because if there weren't any females the master would have figuered out by himself that the race is doomed.

Yes there are females... They just look the same as males that's all... Once all bulged up it makes no difference (and probably sucks when dating...)

When you convince the master to auto-destruc because of fertility he mentions there are females - and you can be certain the master HAS though about having females to reproiduce...

As for ghouls they are just as Super Mutants - very long lived.

Finally, MCA was NOT ironic when he said they were dead. The happy face wasn't sarcastic.

All righty, there are female mutants then. I thought I saw my first female mutants in FOT, guess not then. They aren't exactly hot babes though, so that's probably why it's slipped my mind.

Maybe I should play Fallout again, it's been 6 months since the last time..

Well, the only one I clearly remember seeing is the couple in Broken Hills... Maybe they hide in holes or something :)... Course seeing s they never made a female mutant model it's a bit normal the level designers weren't really enticed into making female mutants... So it's more of a design oversight then anything.

Don't forget the lady waiting to be dipped on the third level of the Mariposa base. She was waiting in the cell.

No female ghouls too, for that matter.

But there is a female dog in FO 1.
