A small lil' update from my neck of the woods:
Revenge is semi-cancelled. Instead of a campaign, it's going to be a series of maps (like my Deathclaw Desert stuff).
That said...

Is that about your World Map problem?

No, I just don't have the patience to make 10 maps before anyone besides me plays any of 'em

Yeah, lack of feedback on your work can get discouraging. My worst fear is that IOOI is going to get finished and distributed only to find out that it's something that no one really likes.
BTW, the demo
will be out next week, Max. I've had a couple of problems here, like my father being hospitalized, dental appointments and - you guessed it - car trouble that have slowed thing down yet again. I think I've got all of the sprites made that I need now, though. I have to rescript some stuff to jive w/the demo's direction change, playtest and then zip it up and send it off. (No BoS soldiers in this one, it's NCR Rangers!)

Sad to hear that Max-V.
I have some fedback for ya, though, check the Review section.
OTB,
I would feel assured that most people will play your campaign, It will be the only one with such length/production values. I think I and others must finish our projects before yours since people will look down on our creations after you publish(wow, a year of work! Raises expectations don't you think? Not to try to make you stressfull or something... )

A few changes made, NGA campaign added...
All this in the first page: scroll down untill you see a list of numbers(currently 4) and click "1". That's an addition for our inexperienced friends.

An update from me: Looking at the map I've been working on for the past month (Revenge1) is starting to make me physically ill, so I'm making it the "last" map of the Revenge pseudo-campaign (i.e. series of maps).
What this means is that I'll be starting on a brand-new map (which is the "real" Revenge1), which also means I won't have a new map for y'all to play for QUITE a while, but Revenge as a whole will be better because of it.
Basically, the map I've been working on doesn't make any sense as the first map of a campaign (it's REALLY goddamn big), so I'm making it the last map.
That is all

Ok, update on my map (almost forgot it didn't ya?) :
Well, I finally got the layout sorted and I'm sorting out the tiles. Mission is still a little hazy but it's coming along slowly.

Good to hear Max-V, Reaper.
Wise choise MV...
Are you going to use any new tiles btw?

Yep. So far, I'm using the "new" RaiderSkullWallLamp and RaiderSkullLamp tiles I made myself, the floorlamp tile I made from a spr JJ86 sent me, and a lavalamp tile I made, also from a spr from JJ86.
But I've yet to use any NEW new tiles. Senor Deluxe will (hopefully) be the one to change that

So you could finally use PSP, or did you got Photoshop?

I said I don't have any NEW new tiles (i.e. brand-new tiles). I just used Red's doohickey to make the tiles. Still dunno how to use PSP to make brand-new tiles

How else could you make a tile out of a sprite then?
Even if you exported, you'd have to check the files through a graphics program to see if any corrections should be made.

My official thanks to Odin-NMA for including the top of this thread to their news section. Btw, you should probably remove some of the adresses Odin, as I was in a mood for a joke and included fony ones for some, I expect to start my own site as soon as I can master ScriptWorx 5.

No, no, no. This is how it went: JJ86 got the pics (of the floorlamp and the lavalamp) from The Sims (I think), and he used his l33t skillz to make 'em into a .spr file for me. That was it for a while, then Red's viewer became able to make .til's out of .spr's. That's it. No corrections needed to be made because the spr was already made - it was a simple conversion.
And for the "new" RaiderSkullLamp and RaiderSkullWallLamp (and Flame Normal and Fire Barrel) "I" "made," all I did was shuffled the sequences around of the already-made .til's using Red's viewer.
No muss, no fuss, no puss

Hm, if it can convert from spr to til, that would be handy. I think I'll check it for some of my sprites.
