just played the demo of the war of the monsters on ps2. the single player mode aint much fun and looks much the same as i was an atomic mutant. but the multiplayer kicks ass. there's nothing like tearing down a skyscraper on top of your best friend.

Bridgeburner, I have WotM, I think it's a lot of fun to bash with your friends. They do have a lot more polygons to work with....(jealous....)

The single player mode is HARD, too hard IMHO. Plus, once you beat it, you've got to do the same over and over again to gain enough points to unlock the other coolness..I think I'll be old and grey before I get to play as Zorgulon.......

Payne.....no can do.... :(
Coupla reasons.....first, we only get so many copies from the publisher.
They will send out copies if I request them to folks that can add exposure to the game by doing a review or contest or something...I gotta pass it by them, so I don't think "custom title" will qualify.
But thanks for the custom title.
The second reason is, *ahem* we're a small developer......and in this case, if we don't get sales, we won't get another chance to do something like this.....so *ahem*....if you're interested in the game, we'd all really like it over here if you could find it in your heart, or, er, wallet, to spend the mere 20 dollars it takes to have a stomping and smashing good time....

All in good fun, I hope....I'm gonna be out of town for a couplea weeks, away from my beloved internet.....withdrawl setting in....will check in when I return....thanks for all your support on this board, people!

Hey folks, after quite the absence, I'm back.......

I'd like you all to know that we've released a patch for Atomic Mutant.

It's available at www.atomicmutant.com on the last page of the book. It's only about 3MB.

It contains a few bug fixes and compatability fixes for different video cards.

There's some differences in the way the puny humans behave, slight AI enhancements.

More importantly, there's a treat for people that have purchased the game. One of the most heard complaints was that the monster blocks
the view. Well, we've included some different camera views to address that, and have some fun, too. Included are:

-New "farther away and up" view that gives a new perspective and gets the monster out of the way...as requested...
-FIRST PERSON view. Look down upon your prey and SMASH!
-PUNY HUMAN THROW CAM. At first, this view looks an awful lot like the
default view. But, go pick up a soldier or civilian and give 'em a throw...see what happens....tee hee.

Thanks for all your support on this forum, and THANK YOU to everyone who has purchased the game.....!! Word of mouth is very important to us, so tell your friends.....
