Early 90's means early techno / hip hop (which are more or less the same thing) which could be pretty elite. Same level of cheesy retro-ness as the 80's has now anyway, only for black people?

Have you ever heard early 90's techno and early 90's hip hop? They're the same damned thing.

Even early 90's industrial has got a somewhat Hip Hop influence, with scratching wikka wikka record noises and all.

I wouldn't be so sure about that... Playing a white character killing "nigs, gooks, pakis and all other shit" is propably considered much more *gasp*-causing among the public audiences than playing a black character killing "nigs, gooks pakis and all other shit"?

Uh, "the black people (...) were black"? I guess you mean the bad people were black, eh? But anyway, I don't think using a black main character can cause any more shock than the GTA-games already have. Of course there'll be Mothers Against Everything -movements thrown against it's publishing and shit but so there were with the two other GTA3D-games.

The white "hero" used crack, shot grannies and bitch-slapped whores - I doubt they'll do much else with the black "hero" .

the early 90s had some pretty good music. word to your mother. though it was more terrificable than the 80s stuff. but yeah, there was some very cheesy bands (nirvana, guns n roses) and crappy rap (vanilla ice, sir mix-a-lot)

should be fun. mabye

I just don't like the hero. Just like Tidus in FFX.
