Why girls hate video games

My girlfriend always asks me to play games with her, but when I do I usually kick her ass. This pisses her off to no end as she spends hours and hours playing things like Super Monkey Ball, and the first time I play I kick her ass all over the place. The only games she's better than me at are fighting games: button mashing. I spend maybe 1 hour a month playing games to her 50.

I know NWN has a relatively large female following, as does BG2. This does the gender absolutely no credit in my eyes, as Bioware enbody mainstream dirge in my opinion.

What he said only here's my less eloquent take on it.

Most girls are casualties of mainstream fads. Much moreso than guys. Actually, guys usually get sucked into said fads because they're trying to persue aforementioned vapid females. This is obvious.

My cousin plays NWN and in real life... well. He's not going to win any hunk of the year awards but does he ever rake in the NWN hizzos. I swear I've seen him playing and every time I see a female they're always wearing those stupid non-functional fur or armor bikinis that you see in fantasy artwork.

I think that must be it. Girls like that because for them it's all about pretending they're this attractive liberated mideval swordmaiden type thing. It's bloody sex in the city... only mideval with really stupid outfits.

Like he said - I actually even love videogames, and so do alot of my girlfriends - they would just rather spend time having sex or talking with their boyfriends (mostly the first, but they wont admit it), rather than playing games. It's a social//romantic thing.

Well, you also neglected to mention that girls are much more proclive to attention mongering than guys are. So they will interpret something that will subvert their significant other's attention as a threat. Many examples of which I've seen with my own friends and their girlfriends. Even though they may actually play videogames themselves.

When a girl wants some "me" time. She usually expects the guy to drop whatever he's doing.

From my experiences and observations, females only endure or attempt to participate in a guy's activities (even though they might not actually like it) during the courtship period of the relationship. After that, there's usually very little room for comprimise.

I dont even know why I wrote that.. I bloody hate that song since I fell asleep drunk with my head in front of a speaker...
With that song on reapeat on all night... I woke up every 30minutes or so, with that bloody tune echoing in my ears.
If there is a hell, it'd be like that.
