Man, can you imagine what that would do to an elephant? Which is clearly the animal it was designed to poach... er kill.

That thing is the equivalent of an over-the-shoulder cannon for fuck sakes. I can only imagine it was that big because it was some pre-1900 firearm and the technology simply wasn't there to produce ballistics in a smaller cartrige to do the same damage.

Seeing an elephant get hit with something like that would probably be akin to driving a garbage truck into it much less piercing it with a giant spear.

As a side note, I pity the poor son of a bitch who has to hold that thing while it's being fired, because you just know the value of african slaves wasn't enough to merit propping it on something you know, non-living for the sake of his hearing.

It actually is not supposed to have as much recoil as you think. As for the sound, well that just sucks dick doesn't it.

dont have a pic yet but when i get a digi camera ill post it, and the range is about average for a .45. Its alot smaller then most .45's but it has ports in the chamber to reduce recoil and report.
