my idea of a fallout 3:

- postal 2 crazyness with all the blood and gore
- some sensless dumbass sarcasm dialouges
- feature for shooting bodies into thousand pieces
- duke nukem 3d humor like the charakter speaks when you click on something
- mutants as number one enemys right after tribe civilians :drunk:
- drug effects
- nice ego perspective highdetailed postapocalyptic weapons
- and of course prostitutes, a lot prostitutes
- and much Slavery, MUCH SLAVERY!! muhaha
i want to have my own slave fights and cages for them

...
my dream lives on. :evil_laugh:

Actually, that sounds like the best thing that Bethesda could possibly come up with.
that's why, congs ;)

but as said it will turn out shit no matter what so these mind experiment lead to nothing anyway

this discussion is going to the dogs, dont'che think guys? It's possibly beacuse we've already discussed the vital points of Fo3 (and good RPGs in general) so many times.

Now cool gore animations, highdetailed postapocalyptic weapons, and hoz galore D;

PS is it me or quickanswer is fucked up?

PiP is correct. Everything has been brought up at least twice. Except the slave cage death match idea of SFS. I'm shocked Bloorgg did not come up with it first???

I just hope it stays true to the original concept. I can't imagine it in from an Oblivion point of view. Perhaps Bethesda has found a more innovative way to immerse us in the game. I still think the tried and true formula would work. Just put it on a higher resolution and inject a superb storyline. Period. WE JUST WANT MORE FALLOUT!

FEV infected Raccoons. The Holodiscs from FO1 indicated that some of these escaped the testing facilities. I'd like to see these giant super-smart coons. :joy:

I had originally thought that the Deathclaws were perhaps from these but why would Raccoons lay eggs? I could see the Deathclaws from FOT being from those raccoons though. :-P

Ha-ha... I want it not to suck.

Honestly, I'm not quite as hateful as most of the people here. I'm going to wait until I atleast seem some screens before I start to throw stones. And really, if its crap I'm still getting it, just not using a method the publishers'd much apriciate if you get my meaning...

And before you think I'm some kind of dumbass Oblivion Fanboy, I've been in this fandom (about rather on and off) since the Fallout Interplay forum. Infact I remember the big switch to the FO2 forum and all the bitching about the much delayed (atleast for our tastes at the time) patch. ;p

It was established in FO2 that they were a type of lizard.
(Enclave data?)

A myriad of NPCs, each with their own unique characteristics.

Beeing able to move stuff like chairs away to get to desks would be great.

With more strenght the player could move away other stuff like tables, rocks, big crates, etc... to get to hidden places.

Alternative would be the ability to destroy chairs, doors and other obstacles.

yup this is good cause different character = different game experience in this case.

don't worry, i think destructible objects come hand-in-hand with soil erosion and rust.

the game also needs more junk collecting, a la arcanum.

When it comes to NPCs, Planescape: Torment is the example game to look at. You learned almost as many things about your NPCs during the adventure than you learned about yourself. It's not just how the NPC looks and sounds like, but how its background and agenda is incorporated with the gameworld.
