Bloodlines.

Whatever, I just want something that is rpg-esque. And if it's pretty, all the better.

In lack of any interesting new releases, summer has always been the time for me to replay golden oldies. No pressure to finish a game everyone is talking about, just enjoy the game and kill those spare hours. I've recently been playing the Kursk and Okinawa mods for Close Combat 5. Good stuff.

Gothic or Gothic II, great big worlds to explore albeit with terrible combat.

Actually, once you get the hang of it, the combat isn't all that bad.

Picked up Star Wolves while I was in Singapore, seems pretty good so far.

It's actually quite good and fun... if a bit unbalanced and not complex enough.

Pick up Space Rangers 2, if you haven't already. It's not an RPG, but still one of the best games of last couple of years. Kept me up 'til the morning hours.

rpg lemme think.. anyone tried that 'Daemonica' yet? I have it, but haven't tried it yet. Will give it a go this summer. I've just started CoC:DCotE and so far it's ok, and I'm planning to finally get down to HL2; it's been waiting in the drawer a while.

Have you ever tried the Quest for Glory series? One, two and four are absolutely fantastic.

OK, they're not exactly pretty, but they are excellent and rpg-esque my pornorific friend.

Bloodlines is pretty cool, but the fact that you never see the sun is pretty depressing. Cool ending, though.
