I personally hate the Matrix series, but Lawrence Fishburne is one of the best actors in Hollywood. If you really want to see a great acting job from him, I recommend seeing "King of New York"; which has one of my favorite all-time lines in a film:
"Where the chicken at?!"
[You need to see the film to get the gist of it]

Funny how all the extras and minor actors probably did a better job acting then a majority of all the people combined in the movie. With the exception of Hugo Weaving, Joe Pantalione, and Larence Fishburn the rest of the "Major" actors had about as much emotion and acting skill as rocks in the series. Was I the only one who thought Carie Ann Moss sounded like one of those voice programs that read text when she said "Hello Neo" in the club scene of the first one? Whats worse is I know she can act because she did a good job in Momento.
P.S. Captain Mifune should have been "the one." The movies would have been 100% better.
