That's the one I got, and I'm fucking pissed 'cause it JUST dropped 10 bucks.

http://www.techdepot.com has them for even cheaper, 56 i think, but it takes 2-4 weeks to come in.

I donno, the reviews say it's a little clumsy when it comes to mouse clicking and stuff? The customer reviews make it seem pretty so - so.

"2) Pen pressure - if you hold down for too long and too hard, the active window starts to shake from side to side." I dono that sounds bad?

I guess look up on the company and see what other people say, i've never heard of them.

Seems most reviews say the mouse is chit and sometimes the pen is a bit gimpy. I wouldn't use the mouse, though the pen doesnt seem too good.

I'd buy some of the stuff in this thread but they only deliver too America. I'll keep looking about though.

I got the cheapese Wacom tablet about 4 years ago..Graphire? The mouse sucks, but what the hell is a mouse for when you're using a tablet for the pen?

I've found the Wacom to be awesome because the pressure is great, and it's editable with the software provided on their site....thin to thick as quick or as slowly as you want.

In the newer versions of Photoshop (6.0+) the tablet loses most of it's functionality...It still draws, and still paints...But pressure is absent for the most part.

I'd go ahead an get whatever the cheapest Wacom tablet is now...Mine's 4 years old and still works for all my projects (you just have to adjust the pressure manually with the tools in Photoshop.)

I've got photoshop 7 and the pressure seems to work fine, if I draw lightly it has a very thin and lighter line, if I press down hard it's dark and bigger. Maybe it's because you have a graphire 1? Mine's 2, and I know 3 is out now too. I donno if that makes a difference but it might be more compatible or something.

Yeah buy the Wacom Graphire 3 or have someone buy the more expensive Intuos 2 for a birthday present. I've not heard too many bad stories about the graphire and still use my Graphire 1, so it is a good investment and guaranteed not to crap out on you.

Yeah..The Graphire 1 is durable as hell..Mine's got a crack across the front, and it's been stepped on, rolled over, and dropped quite often. Works like a charm.

So JJ86...Does your pressure work with Photoshop 6.0+? Mine worked great with Photoshop 5, but it just doesn't work anymore...Could be the crack...Probably the crack...

I am still using Photoshop 5.5 so the pressure works there. Maybe try reinstalling the tablet drivers?

If not just reinstalling, try downloading new ones from a wacom website? 'Cause as I mentioned, it's working just peachy for me in 7.

I've got the newest drivers....It's entirely possible the Graphire 1 just doesn't work right with the new Photoshops...Too bad I sold my 5.0 a long time ago..The only version I've got now is CS (8.0). Maybe I'll just find a new cheap tablet on ebay or something over the summer. For my current needs, I've got no problems with this tablet.
